  1. Biggest flakes of the day, wow. May have spoke too soon about the flakes not being as big as Friday. To see any flakes fly from this system is a bonus up this way.
  2. I can see how those south cashed in. Not very impressive on radar but putting it down pretty good. Two snows in 7 days, I’ll take it.
  3. Usually being north of 40 is a good thing for us here, today, not so much.
  4. Nice little burst here right now. Definitely not the huge wet flakes we saw last Friday. More fine flakes.
  5. Went from sun to “snow” look in minutes. I think it will be easier to accumulate this time as it was 21 this morning.
  6. Had 4.30 since midnight at the house before I left about 2 hours ago. Just a shade over 5 inches for storm total. Muddy Creek was way out of its banks in Nebo and from what I heard, Catawba near Marion was getting close to the top near Riverbreeze (Dolphin Restaurant actually posted a pic).
  7. That looks similar to last Friday’s event.. Euro said no flakes for anyone below 3,500 feet. Of course, euro corrected itself once snow was falling as far south as Easley SC lol
  8. 12Z NAM (the only accurate model for last Friday’s snow) looks very good at the end of its run.
  9. That was my favorite kind, stuck to everything, beautiful falling, and gone the next day. Perfect, IMO!
  10. Yes more precip would be ideal but the boundaries are below freezing as is.
  11. Which layer? That’s 925 and 850 above. Surface is 34-36. Looks good to me!
  12. The last time the mtns were projected to get more than us here in the foothills....
  13. Ah interesting. I know a lot of folks still hug the euro but it has been pretty bad around here lately.
  14. Don’t fret over the euro. As we seen the last system, the euro has until the day of at 12Z to get it correct.
  15. Unfortunately the radar says there’s no moisture past this last batch rolling through now. Just not enough energy with this system to generate its own moisture.
