  1. Just be glad that TCC came along to impart some information on the geography of your area. Obviously he would know your area better than you do.
  2. Hot off the presses - MU says "give me the ICON solution": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2zCxeB4lslo
  3. 88 at 12:30. Should reach the 90s but I honestly thought I'd be there at this point.
  4. Given the forecast for at least the next 7 days, I wouldn't be surprised with that either. He's got us lined up for a 74 on Wednesday and 76 on Thursday. Bring it. (he does extend the Lanco 90 degree streak to 7 days tomorrow, however)
  5. It's only August 5th but MU is taking the "L" for the month already: (kudos to him for not trying to back-peddle his Summer 2024 forecast) MU Weather Center @MUweather So much for a hot, dry #August.. that forecast from late May isn't going to work out, especially the "dry" part. Tropics were and will continue to be the wildcard from August through October.
  6. Huh. I was just a hair over 30". No slants in my stick, either. Stay classy, people...
  7. If I could send it north to you, I would. I want no part of it, honestly. When Lee came through in 2011 and again from a freak flood event several years ago, I saw too many neighbors down the road from me in town lose a whole lot of personal property from 6' of water in their basements. Yards were full of destroyed furniture and other belongings waiting to be removed. That hit too close to home and was another reminder that I just can't "root" for potentially destructive weather. I'm NOT calling you out - I do understand the spirit of what you're saying. You want newsworthy weather...I get it.
  8. I measured 3.8". That's about 50% of that map. I clearly asked for a good snow map. Oh wait...no such thing exists.
  9. Perusing various sub forums this morning gives off very much a winter-time vibe...a whole lot of precip maps getting hoisted. Makes me yearn for a good snow map.
  10. I feel like there's a lot of that type of sentiment from those living close to the big pond. "We're not going anywhere" is a refrain sung by a lot of quoir members on the coast.
  11. WPC, who backed off somewhat late Sunday PM, has actually increased amounts this morning for everyone, including the rowdy residents of Rouz'ville: Note: a fair amount of this falls prior to Deb's remnants later this week -
  12. Weak, but another 90 in the books here. 5th day in a row. Should easily reach 6 days tomorrow.
  13. Growing up, WJZ was the only of the 3 major Baltimore stations that we could get. I spent my entire childhood (into adulthood) watching Bob Turk and Marty Bass. Turk was on channel 13 forever it seemed.
  14. Can't post on mobile but WPC has added a 7" area to extreme SE PA for this week. Most of the LSV is in the 5" shading.
  15. Well... Hopefully THV, LNS, MDT, PHL, and CXY all get 60" of snow this winter and you get 2". I'll wait for your posts to show how great winter was!
  16. You are proving absolutely nothing to anyone who has a large deficit of rain this summer. Nothing. Go ahead, post 278 stations that have surpluses and it doesn't mean a damn thing to people who don't. Why is our corn crop hurting so badly this summer? (Hint - lack of rainfall) JFC.
  17. Listen...if MDT gets 61" of snow this winter while Marysville gets 6.1" it will be an epic winter. That's essentially what he's saying and if it's not he's doing a terrible job conveying it. This week is a great example of why what happens at MDT means very little. I'm sure you're comforted knowing they've had like 3" of rain.
  18. I am so very sorry. I had a 15 minute shower. Other than that it's been partly to mostly sunny the entire day. It's gorgeous out here right now. Sun and 75, which is interesting that my temp continues to fall with the sun out.
  19. Southern Lanco is getting taken to the cleaners. Have to be some 3-5" amounts at this point.
