Had some very heavy rain late last evening (probably the same batch that Blizz referred to falling as snow at MDT) that has pushed my running 7 day total to 3.02" of liquid. The .2" of snow that fell was long gone by this morning - currently it's 37 with drizze.

This caught me off guard tonight. Don't know the whole story but the timing is atrocious.

A lot of talk (well deserved) about Philly and Detroit being on a collision course in the NFC...might have to introduce the Pack to the conversation. Not sold on the Vikings, I like Love better than Darnold. That might also be my bias towards USC.

MU Weather Center 1/2 An upper-level low will track eastward from the Great Lakes region to southern New England spanning Sunday to Monday. In general, only light precip will impact northern MD, southeastern PA and the LSV later Sunday into Monday. 2/2 The precip may begin as a wintry mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain north of the Turnpike and west of Rt. 15 Sunday evening. An icy coating of snow or glaze of ice is possible, especially in the higher terrain and on secondary roads. Elsewhere, only plain rain is expected.

I'll admit that I shed a few tears looking at your pictures of Fenway. The pain of just putting down Rocky is so raw, but I adore your newest family member. He's a handsome cat!

My wife and I have been rescuing stray cats from our area that show up at our house for years. Some we TNR, others we keep. We just had to put our beloved Rocky down Wednesday morning due to cancer. We currently have 5 cats with us. I grew up hating cats. I despised them. Today, I have the biggest (trust me) heart in the world for them. I absolutely love all of my cats.

Low in Maytown was 18, exactly what was forecast here by MU. The low (18.2) occurred at 2:17am, the temp started to rise thereafter. It's now 27 in Maytown under a mainly cloudy sky.
