  1. Sort of agree - some of our biggest storms have come in deep, fresh arctic air, however. '96 I was ripping snow at 10 degrees. '83 was just as cold, and I think 2003 was really cold as well.
  2. The fact that there's more than an hour between posts in the December medium-long range thread to our south says everything you need to know about the pattern.
  3. I must be getting old. Looking at the projected temps ahead of us and I find myself almost looking forward to it. What I want isn't going to change the weather regardless.
  4. I hear James Spann's voice in my head reading this...
  5. Rain is good, a little boom action is kind of cool on December 11th I think.
  6. See, it totally makes sense for BGM to post that. You had multiple areas jackpotting with over a half inch.
  7. He does find classis analogs every year, every pattern. Someday, one day...perhaps he'll be right once again.
  8. It certainly has been on the dry side lately. Wasn't sure how dry. Thanks.
  9. Thanks for mentioning that, I had introduced that possibility yesterday.
  10. Speaking of wind, we had a few hours of gusty winds last evening. All is calm this morning. Are we still looking at a decent amounts Saturday?
  11. 25 was my low, currently 27. Beautiful morning out there!
  12. Maybe they figure that they won't be issuing many of these statements this winter...
  13. I'm not sure I've ever seen such an extensive report from CTP when the grand prize winner got less than .5".
  14. Understandable - takes time to add up the hourly totals.

  16. Always a great thing when SPC has that large of an area of thunderstorms approaching mid-December!
  17. SPC's Day #3 Severe Outlook - Perhaps some good boomers on Saturday here (day #4, since it ain't going to snow)
  18. Wife reported snow about 45 minutes ago. Still, I came up about .3 - .4" short on my call.
  19. Do you mean that Saturday night game on ABC? I'll take along whatever the "boss" says is okay. First things first, I have the Jazz game tomorrow night.
  20. True, but the team is in disarray. Routinely giving up 5, 6, 7 goals a game is something that isn't easily fixed.
