    Wife reported snow about 45 minutes ago. Still, I came up about .3 - .4" short on my call.

    True, but the team is in disarray. Routinely giving up 5, 6, 7 goals a game is something that isn't easily fixed.

    Checking with my wife and the homestead, nothing there either. Then again...you would have had to be watching like a hawk at just the right time to experience the snowfall.

    It almost has to be in his head. He went from being really good to really awful just like that. It's hard to watch. 2 years ago it sure seemed like they finally had the goalie they've been looking for since the Hextall years. He looked like he was going to be better than him, to be honest.

    I saw a few lonely flurries when I arrived here at work around 8am. I got to my office, went over to my window...and just like that...gone.

    All the money spent on upgrading the roster during the offseason and this is what we have to show for it. After years of mediocrity, we've finally moved the bar. To just plain awful. We have more red lights going off behind our net than Kmart had blue lights during their glory years.

    Mowing this time of year isn't really a novelty, but how green the grass seems to be and the rate my grass is growing seems odd given the number of hard freezes thus far. So...I agree with both of these sentiments.

    Every year I take extended time off over the holidays and hardly ever do I have anything to track. I'll gladly exchange tomorrow for a nice snowfall between Christmas and New Year's...or even on Christmas Eve.

    18z NAM has an area of enhancement across the south central mountains and parts of the LSV that most other models do. Other area is well south of the M/D line.

    Time for a trip to the Sierra - after an incredibly dry, warm November. Mammoth, Squall Valley and company might finally be able to build a base.

    I said earlier today that any snow right now is better than nothing. We should take whatever we get and be thrilled with it in this pattern.
