  1. Just reached 94 degrees. Quite breezy as well.
  2. For sure - that's one reason why I felt we'd cap in the low to perhaps mid 90s at best today. We have a couple of days coming imminently that seem to have much more potential for temps flirting with the century mark.
  3. Just reached 90. Day #3 in a row, #17th day this year.
  4. Usually that's a sweatshirt unless it's really (below 25 degrees or so) cold.
  5. How far north do you want to go? I'm with you 100% by the way. My wife and I have 2 warm trips looming over the coming months (Bermuda next month and Sanibel Island FL in the fall) and from then on, we're looking at trips to Maine, Montana, and the northern Sierra. I'm going with an open mind...
  6. Yes...and I have no idea what the reason is. Many days I'm running 5-8 degrees higher than you.
  7. I think the sun was actually a little less intense back then. Lots of haze created a "milky" sky on hot, humid days. Spent many summer days outdoors admiring the sky.
  8. I'm not sold on the 2 of you getting there today - you might need to wait another day. Satellite imagery suggests that you'll be fighting clouds and the passage of the front shortly: Here east of the river, we're already warmer and we'll have more time to bake, so 90 should be a lock here.
  9. With MDT reporting a low of 79 this morning, they have a running start on a well AN day today.
  10. This morning was by far the most uncomfortable out there IMHO. It was 80 when I left for work at 7:30am. It's already up to 83 and it's not yet 8:30 in the morning.
  11. Yes there was. That, combined with a decision to take our daily walk at 7:30 this evening made the stroll fairly comfortable.
  12. I hate hot weather and even I have no reason to complain right now. It's summertime weather.
  13. MU is hammering the front - saying that we'll enjoy at least 2 days of temps in the 80s with dews in the 50s to low 60s. We shall see.
  14. The 85 east of Chambersburg on that map - is that near Caledonia? Wondering what the location is.
  15. I was going conservative not knowing the timing of the front. In the summer it's not uncommon for fronts to come through later than progged. For now, Monday looks like the day the transition begins.
  16. Mid 80s looking more and more likely by next Tuesday. So close, and yet so far away...
  17. Mostly sunny here and 91. Day #2 in this heat wave, day #16 at or above 90 for the year.
  18. The rise has slowed a bit - 87 here. MDT still seems a bit low as you were inferring.
  19. 86 degrees in the historic district just past 10am.
  20. With the game being a 6:05 start, I'll be sitting/looking directly into the sun for the majority of the game. Joy.
