  1. Yep...your win is my sorrow. Hard to get a storm to satisfy both of us, but March 1993 works for me.
  2. I have family that live just outside of Rehoboth that haven't seen much snow the past 2 winters. They're watching this one.
  3. Mentioned several days ago that my wife and I were planning a trip to the Sierra (Mammoth) in 2024 - well, make that spring of 2023! Due to kids getting married, having kids, etc, we moved our family trip to the Everglades from 2023 to 2024, and that sets us up nicely to head out west in just 17 months. Yosemite and the Sierra...here we come!
  4. Picked up .11" of rain since midnight - the nickel and dime-athon continues! I've now exceeded a half inch of rain but it's taken 5 days to do so.
  5. Importantly, that low pressure has been getting modeled deeper (slightly) each passing day it seems. I would think that deeper low = chances of it being farther north?
  6. My AC hasn't stopped running. It was on a few times during the snow Monday morning.
  7. Took some of my family to the Strasburg Railroad (I go A LOT) and we had to open the windows in our car...they must have had the heat on because it was way hotter than this guy can handle. LOL
  8. 49 and partly sunny here. Today's high was 52. Felt amazing in the sun.
  9. .15" of rain yesterday, an additional .01" since midnight. Nickel and diming my way through this "rainy" period.
  10. Just came here to share this, thanks for doing so. Great coach who became even better known in the booth. He will be missed.
  11. I guess that makes perfect sense. Good for you that SW flow is not the "prevailing" direction.
  12. HIA area was misnamed all along - the hot zone surrounds Hagerstown International Airport. LOL
  13. Showing up well on radar - one thing about the past 2 days, temps have been LOWER than forecast. Doesn't happen often. High yesterday here was only 33, today 38. 2 straight days of below normal highs.
  14. Just catching up with today's nooners - according to the GFS...road trip to Tangier Island on Sunday night? They're in the sweet spot for that 993mb low cranking off the SE coast.
  15. I am truly glad and thankful that you post these types of updates. I love reading about weather extremes, regardless of how "extreme" the day to day weather is. As a kid I would always look for this information in the daily paper.
  16. Not too bad here. Sun was out for a few minutes earlier.
  17. Snow is beginning to wind down in Mammoth...227" since 12/13. They are under a Winter Storm Warning, Avalanche Warning, and a Snow Immersion Warning. People warned about suffocation from falling through the snow and getting buried alive. Wow...
