    Showing up well on radar - one thing about the past 2 days, temps have been LOWER than forecast. Doesn't happen often. High yesterday here was only 33, today 38. 2 straight days of below normal highs.

    Just catching up with today's nooners - according to the GFS...road trip to Tangier Island on Sunday night? They're in the sweet spot for that 993mb low cranking off the SE coast.

    I am truly glad and thankful that you post these types of updates. I love reading about weather extremes, regardless of how "extreme" the day to day weather is. As a kid I would always look for this information in the daily paper.

    Snow is beginning to wind down in Mammoth...227" since 12/13. They are under a Winter Storm Warning, Avalanche Warning, and a Snow Immersion Warning. People warned about suffocation from falling through the snow and getting buried alive. Wow...

    Highest temp for me so far is 33.6. Currently it's 33.1

    I saw that after I posted about Roundtop. Only thing Roundtop has open other than beginner terrain is Minuteman. By the way, no measurable rain here today. It was all snow save for some drizzle.

    I was gonna do this earlier today but was waiting for today's totals to come in. What an amazing week out there! I checked the Village cam about an hour ago and there was zero visibility. 15' of snow in 6 days. Wow...

    Ski Roundtop opened today - how they were able to build a base enough to open over the past week or two is remarkable.

    We've become almost as active, which is also indicative of how the winter season has unfolded so far.

    @Newmanserious shoutout to the "crew" at MU - saw Kyle's tweets yesterday, and at least for my neighborhood, he absolutely nailed this. I finished with 1.1" of snow that fell between 9am and 12pm. Yesterday, he was calling for 1" in my area which would fall between 8am and 12pm. That's an impressive forecast. 33.1 degrees with drizzle. Roads are quickly turning to slush now, but EVERYTHING was white for a little while. Nice to see!
