  1. I'll be mowing in t minus 2.5 hours... It's currently sunny and 75!
  2. NO!!!!! Nothing good comes from snow that early - at least that's what our history has been. We had snow in early October 1979...ended up with a TOTAL of 7.5" (MU) for the entire winter. I don't think the winter of 2011-12 was much better after it snowed in October. Keep that October snow far away please.
  3. MU is going for 74-78 today and 72-76 tomorrow.
  4. Thinking 75ish seems reasonable - amazing how warm it feels today after the weather we've had recently.
  5. Sunny and 69 - feeling like a mid 70s kind of day out there.
  6. Not sure how good of a coach he was, but he made for good theater.
  7. You have always, always been a very good sport about sports teams. Never once have you been obnoxious or tried to incite anyone. As you said, you even go out of your way to support the local teams even though their not your teams. I don't like either Dallas or Philly but regardless, Buddy Ryan probably wasn't the best human being. Aikman certainly "got his" later on.
  8. @Porsche- thanks for sharing the storm through pictures! @Bubbler86 - I agree with you. Sometimes when viewing "stormy beach pictures" from above, you don't really get a sense for just how rough it is. Boy, those 2 pictures you were referring to...those are some colossal waves!
  9. For the first time here since last Thursday...I see the sun!
  10. I typed about 6 different responses to this from Buddy Ryan's perspective but didn't think any of them were appropriate to post. LOL
  11. I like the Dean dude that's on Saturdays better. LOL
  12. Nah...3 days of 77 means the AC won't shut off much. LOL
  13. Also...after a couple of hours of dry weather...itsrainingtime.
  14. Elliott Abrams educated me that Indian Summer occurred only after the 1st legit frost of the season, so barring that this weekend, I'm ruling that out. Mid 70s is NOT a heat wave regardless of what the normal highs are (to me) so that goes out the door. Sounds like a stretch of warm autumn days are in store for us.
  15. I'm counting down the hours until the mower comes out. LOL
  16. I finished nearly 1" higher than you...and almost all of that happened yesterday. I had 1.96" for the day...I got into some heavy action twice that looked to be from my area and just north and east.
  17. I'd say me...but now wonder if the saturated ground keeps me a few degrees cooler.
  18. My temp remained between 45.4 and 46.2 from Monday night at midnight until 7:13pm last evening. At that point, the rain abruptly stopped, the winds increased, and my temp slowly climbed the remainder of the evening. It was 49.6 when I had last checked at 11pm...I saw this morning that it went up to the 50.4 reading just before midnight. Woke up this morning at 5:30am and it was 51.2 I've been accused by various family members of throwing shade during our fantasy football seasons, so I guess I have it in me. LOL
  19. My highest temp yesterday was 50.4 at 11:59pm... 0.10" of rain since midnight. Event total is 3.61"
  20. Holy cow Jon - so sorry to hear this. I had a period of "breezy" conditions last evening, outside of that it hasn't been windy at all. I'll comfortably say that my winds have been under 10 mph throughout this save for last evening.
  21. Today would have been fine if it wasn't the 4th or 5th day in a row of this. LOL
  22. 3.49" event total - 1.95" for the day. Rain has stopped, clouds have broken somewhat and it's suddenly gotten quite breezy.
  23. Today was remarkably dark here - sun did not remotely come close to making an appearance down this way.
  24. 1.71" of rain since midnight. 3.23" since Friday.
