  1. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peter_Sinks I had to look it up - what a fascinating place. I might have to add this to my 3 week odyssey out west in a couple of years!
  2. I really am a part of the team - the "typical" flight pattern has aircraft flying pretty much directly overhead on approach to MDT. Sometimes I can even hear the landing gear deployed.
  3. If the Sixers do escape South Beach, I'd much prefer playing Milwaukee over Boston. I do not think we match up well at all with the C's.
  4. Yeah, even with yesterday's overachieving warmth, there was a notable SE breeze that made it feel really nice in the sun and kind of cool in the shade.
  5. Hopefully Miami is a victim of the wrath of Embiid.
  6. I got to 74 today. If there's sun on Thursday, 80 should become "likely".
  7. I would have voted for Jokic or Giannis. I still think Giannis is the best player in the game. Milwaukee doesn't even dream of winning a title last year without the Greek freak.
  8. What within that large umbrella specifically is causing more wind though?
  9. Winds have become "normal weather" around here lately. Not sure why though.
  10. Well, at least we salvaged a really nice Sunday after initial forecasts had the clouds and drizzle potentially lasting into the afternoon. Perhaps by later this week, the weekend forecast won't be so threatening. My in laws are down on OBX right now (Kill Devil Hills) and today's forecast is for clouds, showers and a high of 55. 55 on the North Carolina coast on May 9th. Oh, and there's NE wind blowing through tomorrow night at 30-35 mph sustained with gusts to 50. My wife called her mother last night - in laws are oceanfront, and the house was shaking a lot.
  11. I mean...I think it fits. In my language, this week looks really nice.
  12. Actually my low was 41 as well. I have a friend in Bainbridge who recorded 4.22".
  13. Rain has stopped and radar is drying out...rainfall total is 4.16". We'll see if any additional showers pivot this far west overnight but we should be done.
  14. Just hit the 2" mark for the 2nd day in a row. 4.12" total so far.
  15. Temp here has been slowly but steadily falling all day - from 50.2 at 8am to the current 45.6
  16. A lot of Lanco is now in a dry slot, at 3pm my storm total is 3.64"
  17. MDT recorded 2.17" yesterday which matches up well against my 2.12". I'm surprised by how much rain I've gotten since midnight- now up to 1.18"
  18. 50 and light to moderate rain continues here. 2.12" of rain fell yesterday. 1.09" has fallen since midnight. 3.21" of total rainfall and more to come.
  19. Good for him. Nice to see the shots falling tonight. Obviously, Sunday night will be the biggest game of the season.
