I barely made Advisory totals here - .21" as the sun starts to return. Elliott isn't enthused for round #2 either. Worse yet, it's dry under the dogwood.
I'm at home now and have .12" in the gauge. The worst is already past. It's drizzling.
There's still an area of stratiform rain to move through - just saying that the initial sharp line produced very little here.
MU:
The strong-to-severe t-storms across west-central VA will move through northern MD & the Lower Susquehanna Valley btw. 11 a.m. & 5 p.m. Main threats will be flooding downpours & locally damaging winds, w/up to 2” of rain possible in just 30-60 mins. in the hardest-hit locations.
Given SPC's thoughts on where severe is most likely today, I wouldn't see why not. But I am far, far removed from being an expert on severe. And I'll never actively root for it. It can stay far away as far as I'm concerned.
Can't take a half off on the road against a team as good as the Warriors and expect to win. Obviously, you know that, but it might have been different if the intensity level was up from the opening tip.
