  1. Yeah, that's a good point. I'm sure that they're a little hardier up there with weather than some other venues, but there comes a time when too much is too much. (though it does sound like the south towns might get less than BUF and north)
  2. There have been a few fun games to watch in Buffalo over the years.
  3. Noted - I finished with 1.09" officially in Maytown. I haven't received a total from Maytown International yet... Speaking of Buffalo - Josh Allen will likely be riding my bench on my fantasy team this weekend. Not so much because of all the red zone picks the past 2 games, but the passing game might be somewhat limited in Orchard Park on Sunday.
  4. Yep, he did well - especially his main focus area which is Lanco. Not sure how much rain he expected but it is a deluge - going to eclipse the 1" mark shortly.
  5. .81" of rain so far with the heaviest rain of the event falling now.
  6. 2018 I received 6.7" of snow. Tonight, I'm making a run at 1" of liquid gold.
  7. Because, they take your forecasts on here to heart and you said there'd be nothing but maybe a few flakes in Harrisburg.
  8. Rain. Heavy rain. And nothing but rain. 35.4 currently with .34" of rain so far. I have not been expecting anything but rain...but a tad jealous of everyone getting snow. Enjoy!
  9. Light rain and 38. Temp up 1 degree over the past hour.
  10. On behalf of true CPA weenies all around...we salute you for that map.
  11. First snowflakes of the season in Maytown - I didn't see them, but my wife said a recent burst of heavier precip delivered a few parachutes. Back to light rain/sleet mix now.
  12. It doesn't look like you performed an annual snow mow... Nice pic nonetheless.
  13. Most impressive thing to me on that map is the sub-freezing temps literally to the Gulf on 12/1.
  14. Agreed - something should be reaching the ground now in northern Franklin/extreme western Cumberland I'd think.
  15. My wife said she would be more than stunned if she got... Yeah, so we just hit 40 degrees here.
  16. Glad you posted - I've been patiently waiting for you to update. Heading up next weekend to see Sparty?
  17. Elliott at MU: Rain will overspread the Lower Susquehanna Valley from west-to-east between 2-5 p.m. this afternoon but should quickly change over to a period of wet snow N/W of I-81 and along South Mountain. How far south/east wet snow occurs will depend greatly on precipitation rates.. Higher rates will result in more efficient dynamic and evaporational cooling, and vice versa. Still, I don't expect more than a few slushy spots on secondary roadways, especially in the higher terrain. However, a coating to 2" of snow is possible on non-paved surfaces.. Any wet snow is most likely between 4-8 p.m. and may lead to areas of lower visibility. Make sure to reduce speed and increase following distance during the afternoon commute to minimize the risk of hydroplaning. For York and LanCo, precip. should fall as plain rain
  18. Temp responding pretty quickly despite a fair amount of clouds - up to 37 here.
  19. Temp already above freezing here - 32.8 under filtered sun.
  20. Yep. Much better chance you get something white later on today than for me.
  21. This season is a top 5 for sure. Not sure it ranks #1 - my mowing stats aren't as in depth as some of my winter stats. I can tell you that the analytics say there's a 97% likelihood that I will mow again in the next few weeks. Always go with the analytics.
