  1. Such is April. Never expect nice Spring weather until May.
  2. We're done dude, hasn't snowed the whole month. More rain Thursday night and next week could turn wet. Might as well get our water supply built up and the reservoirs full now. Hopefully by May we turn full spring mode. April is always a toss up.
  3. This time of year is always back and forth though. After the weekend, it's back to at or below normal next week. My highest forecast temp next Monday-Saturday is 53, which isn't crazy AN. Of course we will probably overperform some days especially with full sun.
  4. Exactly yeah, next week is the last full week of March, and I'm not seeing anything crazy warm. Monday through Friday most highs are 40's to low 50's with 20's and 30's at night. I'm not saying we don't end up AN this month but it's not like we wall to wall torched. The crazy departures last week will make the month look worse on paper of course.
  5. We had enough snow, and outside of that heat burst last week, it's not like we've been torching. Next week still looks chilly. Stuck at 27 currently.
  6. Already 0.6" overnight. We'll see what today holds.
  7. Definitely going to be cool coming up but I wouldn't expect anything snow wise. Sure, we have seen snow after the equinox, but how often is it anything accumulating? Honestly, at this point, who cares about a dusting or car topper? Don't get me wrong, I'm okay with average temps, not looking for a torch or anything this early in the season, but time to pack it in with the snow now. You got your KU dude!
  8. Time to start tracking rain events. Now is when we want some good soakers, so that by May/June when things turn more towards convection, we have a good start and don't have to worry about a drought as much. Monday has my attention.
  9. Had ripping downpours here, the rain alone woke me up. The additional 0.4" overnight puts me just under an inch from this system, and we still have more to come.
  10. Solid downpours here. Enough to pick up a half inch already. Still more to come.
  11. March 10th or June 10th?
  12. Warm temps and higher dewpoints have eaten the snow alive here. Snowcover completely destroyed and gone. Even the huge piles at the corners of the driveway are tiny. Next few days look great, shame though it's just a tease.
  13. This turned into a really nice soaker here. Sitting at just under an inch, and there's still some serious moisture headed towards us.
  14. March 1st, I guess it's time for me to come out of hibernation. Finally made it through the coldest and darkest months of the year. Looks like a lot of rain chances this week, but I see some 60's showing up towards next weekend. Looking forward to some 7pm sunsets too Will it turn cold by the 3rd week, maybe...but at that point who cares. It's been plenty cold and I'm just under 50 inches this season. AN snow and BN temps, nothing to complain about on this one.
  15. 3º currently. Winds have been cranking all day, this morning was nuts. Looking forward to the mid 30's next week.
  16. The third week of March is typically the turning point. Yes, it CAN snow until April, like 2018 for example, but that's highly anomalous. So by that measure we have about 5 weeks left of wintry potentials. Anything after should be considered a treat.
  17. Yeah sounds about right. Definitely achievable.
  18. I mean you can't win em all. We just had a solid foot plus of snow area wide with temps in the single digits.
  19. So nice to have the sunset time approaching 5:15pm now. Sitting at just about 31 inches for this season, not bad at all. I don't know my seasonal average, but I would assume around 40ish maybe? @rgwp96Any idea? Also, this is a pretty legit cold snap. Low single digits every night here right through the weekend. Next week looks to "warm" a bit as we have a chance at seeing above freezing again.
  20. Just round to the nearest tenth. I always measure the exact amount, and then convert (i.e. 2.75 is 2.8 or 3.25 is 3.3)
  21. 2.8" today, which makes it 5.8" this weekend.
  22. Dude, it's the first day of the month.
  23. 1" here overnight. Stuck in the mid-20's and windy.
  24. I checked Mount Holly's forecast area and I was surprised my total was pretty much tied for the highest around. I had exactly 4 inches.
