  1. Lol. I wasn’t trying to steal anyone’s fishing spots. Especially for catch and release bass fishing, Heck, I don’t mind sharing my crabbing spots, and this is just bass that you throw back. EJ, thanks for the info, but I don’t think that’s the spot that I was thinking of. You mentioned another house several times and I can’t remember the name. It may have been Pleasant Valley, but looking at a map, I don’t think that’s it. I had The name and called them back in May or June and they said that the pond was C and R and open to the public, so I was going to check it out. Back to my whiskey...
  2. Hagerstown dew is 63. Frederick still 72, but it’s getting close. I'm going to get a good buzz on and go for a long walk later and pretend it’s fall.
  3. Nice. I still need to get out on the pond by the firehouse. Would it be worth taking the canoe?
  4. I’m ready for the front to pass through. Another .50” today with about .80” total barring another stray shower.
  5. Getting some great tropical downpours.
  6. Getting some sun trying to break through too. Let’s get some instability up in here!
  7. .31” Right around 7” for the month.
  8. The first line deked to the north and essentially skipped here. The trailing line looks promising.
  9. Lots of thunder and some sprinkles. Muggy out there.
  10. It’s been awhile since the northern crew has gotten some thunderstorm action.
  11. Do you recall which counties, or is there a graphic? eta: I understand too, just wish he hadn’t sounded so negative on the entire state.
  12. I agree with calling out, but I wish he had called them out specifically instead of brushing a broad stroke.
  13. Just a guess, but the logistics for a hybrid model is really complicated and difficult to implement in three months, let alone a week or two. From a county perspective, the most to least complex is hybrid, virtual, fully in-person. As a teacher, I think it’s the same order, but 6 weeks ago when the decision to go fully virtual was made, no one had a clear idea of what our numbers would look like today. So, since then, all efforts have been geared towards making the virtual setting as rigorous as possible. Hogan knows that switching from fully virtual to hybrid is not something that can be done very quickly which really made yesterday’s presser unusual.
  14. I just finished an Island Rescue IPA from Revelation. Very good.
  15. I have no business going into the hurricane thread, but damn, she’s a beast.
  16. Is it true that students in Montgomery county schools start on Monday, and there is still no daily schedule for any grade level?
  17. I think he had eventually been given a waiver to use a different drug than the one he was using, which was adderall. Maybe not though.
  18. 33 wins will probably get someone in the postseason. Why not the O’s? A win today and then 19 - 13, baby! Sit this cardboard cutout all over the stadium and start peeling!
