    I hear the occasional sleet burst but they've few and far between. Mostly just freezing drizzle or very light ice pellets. I don't have anything accumulating on branches but the snow is super-crusty.

    I'm going to pretend that the cold is wrapping in faster than the precip so that by the time I get into heavier bands, it's all snow here.

    An inch of qpf would be nuts, but I'm excited for the wind and any snow showers we get today. Backside snow is light, fluffy, and can accumulate quickly, not to mention that it doesn't happen around here much.

    Lost to the FV3?!? That’s funny. Christmas lights are still up here too. Probably shouldn’t admit it, but so is our tree. Heck, I won’t apologize. I love Christmas, not to mention that it takes a lot of time putting up the train display so we like to enjoy it. Steady light snow with better flakeage and 28.

    Yes, we have a band on the way and more in line behind it. As @WxUSAF said, it ain't sexy but its steady. Should be a great afternoon. I'm heading out for a walk in the local cemetery in a few minutes.

    You know this but wrap-around snows (easy RR!) are hard to pin down but when they develop, they can drop a lot of snow in a hurry.
