You likely were not around there in '98/January, but there was a big ice storm all over QUE/NNE ... I wonder how that area did in that.
It was bad here I have told. Snapped the tops off every ash tree here, so the locals tell me.

The CAD is pretty deep....so you may get some sleet....the sfc winds are not strong and out of the E or NE. It will be interesting to see your obs.
That's a good sign for here. Definitely not a torch direction for me.
-
Models are painting an extended period of sleet and ZR here. My limited history in this spot is that this will be snow or rain. We don’t seem to get a lot of sleet and ZR here. If winds are W/NW it might be wet snow.
-
Been sort of snoozing on weather for a bit here but the models do show some kind of ongoing mixed mess scenario for basically a week straight starting Wednesday. Seems very marginal but if we end up on the right side could be a decent amount of snow. Or days of dreary cold rain.
-
Would be nice to get warm and dry at this point, but the extended looks cold and rainy instead.
-
Yeah, total mudpit here. The dirt road to my driveway is the worst I have seen it. You almost need 4WD/AWD to get through.
I am expecting a long mud season because I am sure the cold and wet pattern we all waited for this winter will show up now.
My lawn front lawn and back field will not be suitable for anything until later in May.

Getting some sweet 34 degrees heavy rain right now. Good stuff.

Sounds like you nuked centipede HQ and then invited the spiders in.

Me too but they're in your house, they're in every house, the other day while I was working a big ass spider crawled up to me on my desk, I tried to smash it with my lamp but he got away, he's still lurking somewhere.
Oh yes they are everywhere indeed.
@weatherwiz is always debating between spiders and house centipedes, I think. Same here.
At our MD place, every year is another battle in the endless war between wolf spiders and house centipedes, who have been mortal enemies for 100 million years or so. Some years, the spiders are dominant, other years the centipedes reign supreme. Either way, you walk into your bathroom at 2 AM to piss and there is some huge multi-legged POS right there in your face.

I hate spiders.

Nice, it's fun out there, just stay in the shady areas to avoid the glue.

61 here. Feels great. Shame we will be back in cold rain mode soon.

I was feeling pretty smug out there strolling around my paved driveway today.
My driveway is paved but the roads to it are just dirt and in bad shape.

The Berlin crowd is hardly any better. Less loud, though.

There is nothing quite like a really short man from Mass drunk as a skunk in a bar arguing with everyone. The impotent rage. LOL

I can't man, because the powers that be decided to come back 6 months later and hand down some discipline. Call it make up moderating.
I know you've had your own negative experiences there.
LOL sucks for you. Hope you learned a lesson about them all and yourself. Good luck out there.

Forky has been doing this kind of thing for probably close to 20 years. There's no use in getting outraged anymore.
Ugh, the bat signal went off. Go back to OT.

There was also a bad ice storm here in 2008 I think. I might have them mixed up. One of them wrecked the trees here and you can still see the damage.
