    They expressed the uncertainty in the discussion, and there's been wide model variance especially in this area. I wouldn't want to be them, you're being more than a little harsh, especially since some models (and I don't believe them) are showing those amounts, still.

    I'm used to being left out, but I don't think I've ever seen new london on an island like it is, with south county included to it's east. Makes sense really. I would hate to have to forecast the limits, so why not wait for more info.

    To have any chance of a mostly snow event imby, I'm glad widespread disapointment is being countenanced. This is the way. All the bigger solutions were rain flips here, and while those always show some giant dump after the flip, it absolutely never works out here.

    Dusting on the ground. There's a huge difference between a mile south of here, on ocean drive, where it's raining and surfaces aren't covered much, and a couple miles north of here, where there is an inch. Earlier today when I picked my kid up from nursery, I went from pingers and dippin dots to fatties and back again. Expecting rain out of the next one and perhaps another total write off winter.

    Just flipped back to snow. Snowman on easymode for my kid. Sticky.

    So the 4 inches or so we received before the dry slot is ruined and it's raining. On the upside my prediction was correct for here. On the downside, my kids birthright is pain and I got very little sleep for no reason.

    The cape looks fun right now. Another hour and it's mostly over down here, back edge approaching, and I can't see much more happening. If it can just mood snow so I can make a snowman in 4 hrs when my kid wakes me up, that'd be cool.
