    Low level clouds have really thickened here again. I don’t see any patches of blue sky atm.

    It’s weird, high cloud cover is mostly gone here in culpeper, tons of low level cloud cover but sun it still managing to shine.

    Been full sun last hour in culpeper. Certainly Has that “feel” today but we shall see.

    The overall dry pattern area wide is a concern come early fall and deep into fall. If the pattern continues, I’d expect an active wildfire season around here.

    I’ve noticed premature browning/yellow of a lot of leafs here as well. Cant tell you how much I’ve missed rainy/cloudy days lol. going to be a very disappointing fall leaf season!!!!

    Wasn’t the DC (NOVA) split said earlier today??? Sure enough that’s what happened. Severe days aren’t the same around here anymore. the potential is there but never realized. Firm believer if it weren’t for the midday cloud cover the majority of the area would have capitalized.

    I have heard the same for our parts. Very anemic severe season so far and just lack of rain overall. Which I’m partially okay with, I like to keep the hours down on my zero turn lol.
