  1. I have experienced a LOT of low points as a bengals fan in five decades. But yesterday was easily into a very competitive top five worst.

  3. Have booted the usual multi-family gathering for Thanksgiving, but will still host parent/in-law parent at the house - keeping the gathering to 7. BUT, we really want to have it on our patio outdoors - fingers crossed for the mid-50s midday highs for a week from Thursday with low chances of rain hold. That would be swell.
  4. This is the well known "summer vestige" portion of NOVEMBER. We will also see this "summer vestige" at times in November/December, November/January/, November/February/, November/March, and November/April.
  5. Could be that "severe season" never really ends this year and just rolls into 2021.

Also, went to Rehobeth on Saturday with my better half and the equally better dog to take advantage of the mid-May weather. it was...pretty damn nice. Further also, the winter season I can finally think about chasing to see snow and it looks like the closest snow will be Calgary seems...about par for my course.

  13. Your climate, friend, is much more favorable for finding some snow in a Nina than ours is in the majority of our part of the mid-Atlantic. You should definitely have some hope. Down here, people are being more or less pretty realistic about what this set-up likely means.
  14. Empty nest now with one child graduated from college and second child now in his first weeks of college. Also, just came into an extra week vacation per year at work. So...I am planning to chase snow this year at least once. Gonna toss the pup in the car and just go.

Two of the five worst snowfall total winters the region has experienced has been in the last 10 years.

  18. Bump. apparently need to get the place ready early this year... reminder, 3rd worst ever at DCA and IAD last year and tied for third worst at BWI.

  20. Something popped up over downtown Baltimore and it absolutely poured here for about 20 minutes. Checked with home and five miles up 83...nothing.
  21. We had some hail for a quick moment as it started here at my house.
