There were light flurries in Marysville around 9am this morning.

The 12z GEFS still has an impressive snow map for the next 2 weeks when considering the time of year.

The 12z Euro is still trying to get a Winter storm going on the 3rd into the 4th.

12z GFS still has some frozen precip for many of us on Wednesday morning.

But the more important question… Is your A/C running today?

There was a snow mixed with graupel shower that moved through Marysville a little before 1 pm today. There was a minor car topper for around 10 minutes.

The 12z Euro has a coastal storm next Sunday. Maybe we get 1 more chance?

Hopefully we get the MU storm next week!

More from CTP… The potent shortwave trough will pivot across PA on Saturday with reinforcing impulse and accompany shot of colder air for Sunday. Winter will make a big comeback only this final weekend of March 2022.

This is from the CTP discussion today. SYNOPSIS... In the face of recent bouts of unseasonably mild Spring weather, winterlike conditions are poised to make a striking return to central PA for the last weekend of March 2022 as it attempts to go out like a lion. Temperatures will trend significantly colder with gusty winds enhancing the chill factor. Rain and snow showers will impact the area into early next week with squalls and graupel possible on Saturday.

The 0z GFS has a coastal storm for us on April 3rd. The timing would be great with the overnight & early morning snow chance for some of us. I just want 1 more event to track with a decent chance of measurable snow. Hopefully MU is right!

Great discussion! I especially enjoyed this part, “Despite the fact that we'll soon be flipping the calendar to April, this is exactly the type of weather pattern that can lead to late-season snow. Obviously, the high sun angle and fact that (temperature) averages are increasing by one degree every 2-4 days make receiving snow in April extremely difficult and virtually eliminate the threat of pavement accumulation. However, any storm that tracks to our south between March 30 and April 10 could bring an "onion snow" if precipitation falls at night. This would need to be a "thread-the-needle" type of event, but it would be foolish to rule out the possibility during such a favorable pattern.”
