  1. As the great @pasnownut said a few weeks back on here, at least the days of heat are numbered at this time of year.
  2. Lol, now everyone can mow twice a week until the frost begins!
  3. Exactly, normal temps don’t drop to ideal Fall conditions until early October.
  4. I’m saving my weather model tracking for October to April. I need to pace myself in order to perform at a high level for snow tracking season!
  5. Congrats! I hope that Bedford got rain today too to eliminate the last dry spot in PA!
  6. Lol, they have more talent than what many people realize. Both sides of their line have veteran talent and should play well if they can stay relatively healthy. They have young talent at WR and RB, plus the TE depth might be the best in the league. Their secondary should be much improved. We will find out about Hurts at QB & see what the new coach brings to the table. They could be a playoff team if all goes well!
  7. I think that you have a good chance to get the goods from this line that is back in Dauphin & Northumberland county now.
  8. Below normal in September & October does us no good. Might as well save the below normal chances for November to March.
  9. Go Bucs! It pains me to say that with the cheating Tom Brady leading the Bucs, but it will help the Eagles for Dallas to go 0-1 !
  10. Very impressive thunder & lightning in Marysville. Heavy rain is now underway.
  11. Lol…I will go with the Canadian whenever there is a doubt…!
  12. Great point! I try to wish and hope for snow as early and as late as possible.
  13. Beautiful Labor Day weather underway! Warm sun, no humidity and a light breeze are making very nice holiday weather.
  14. I understand as well and was just having some fun….! Lol…Let’s hope that 1 mile of yellow in Bedford county gets out of the lightest shade of yellow with the next update!
  15. I found the drought monitor posted yesterday in the NE thread. You will need to go to WV or Maine to see drought conditions now.
  16. Lol…it would be nice if we could issue some of the maps. I would like to put out some snow maps next Winter if I had access to the programs! All of this rain has indeed caused some extra yard work to be needed over the last few weeks. I would have been good with just getting normal rain amounts this Summer. Yard work in the heat and humidity of Summer is never enjoyable.
  17. I didn’t enjoy the return of the humidity today. The cloudy conditions at least kept the temperature in check today.
  18. Lol… If it doesn’t rain for a week, I’m sure someone will get worried about drought again despite being several inches above normal for the month, season, & year!
  19. Lol…I’m sure there will still somehow be a tiny dot of yellow on the drought map because of some broken measuring equipment in some random spotter’s yard! They won’t bother to check anything out and will issue the drought map anyway!
  20. Is your lawn finally green once again after all of this rain?
  21. Above normal precip is already locked in for September thanks to Ida.
