  1. I like the fact that most of the heavier precip appears to be in the evening, so there is a better chance of accumulating snow on the grass, mulch & car tops.
  2. Great coastal low track from Norfolk to the mouth of the Delaware Bay to the south NJ coast.
  3. The 6z Euro is now on board the April snow train. It brings the 2 inch snow down to the I-81 area in the LSV and to the rest of CTP.
  4. 6z GFS took a major step in the right direction for those of us that want late season snow! Harrisburg, York & Lebanon to the north & west all are looking good this run.
  5. If this NAM run were to come close to verifying, it would be a historic event for the Harrisburg area
  6. Monday night 11pm, All of CTP except for eastern Lancaster is getting crushed with snow. The low is near positioned near OCMD.
  7. We are getting NAM’d right now! 0z Monday night the low is near Norfolk, VA. Snowing in most of the LSV!
  8. I’m waiting now for the NAM to come in like it is January!
  9. The 18z Euro ensemble brought the “blue” snow line further southeast into central Perry, Cumberland & Franklin Counties. It still has the 1 inch snow line running through Harrisburg.
  10. 18z Euro Op & Contol bring up to 1 inch of snow to most of the LSV.
  11. Great first half for the Sixers. They can’t take their foot off of the gas in the second half!
  12. The 12z Euro is really close to a better snow event for the western LSV. As it is, it’s a great great track and I-99 looks to do well with late season snow. Their elevation should help.
  13. Good points. It will be tough to stick without elevation during the day. I am just hoping for snow TV for a few hours. Maybe a mulch & car topper in the evening if we are lucky.
  14. I’ve seen snow in the daylight in May just 2 years ago at only a few hundred feet of elevation. If conditions are right, it can snow. If rates are good, it can stick to many surfaces, even during the day.
  15. I am thinking of inviting myself to go to see @MAG5035 or the cabin of @pasnownut to see this snow event!
  16. Here are CTP’s thoughts this morning. Monday will begin with a mix of rain and snow spreading north/east into Central PA. The column temperatures may support plain snow for a few hours, but the warm-ish ground and ever- higher sun angle will keep accums to a minimum on Monday. Will continue to carry around an inch for Somerset Co, and less elsewhere for Mon AM. It then rains for a good portion of the day as the next upper trough pushes in from the Upper Great Lakes. The air cools off again Mon evening, and a slushy coating is again possible for the Alleghenies. LONG TERM /TUESDAY THROUGH FRIDAY/... Later Monday night into Tuesday afternoon still has to be watched for some more snow, given developing low off the coast. Later in the day on Tuesday, lake effect and upslope snow showers will be possible.
  17. 6z GFS still gets snow to the river on west, but spares Lebanon & Tamaqua from any snow.
