  1. Yes, very nice with the low humidity once again.
  2. I would like to take 4th place in the Summer Thread post count standings and knock @Voyager off of the leaderboard! How can you find out how many posts that you have in a thread?
  3. Our local Marysville pool was closing early at 5:30 today due to a lifeguard shortage.

  5. Lol, I agree. I lost track of my mow count long ago..lol!
  6. Yes indeed! Perfect Summer day with low humidity and temps near 80.
  7. I ended up with 1.4 inches of rain today between 2 rounds of showers in the late afternoon and early evening. I will probably be mowing again in a few days.

  10. My family and I had a great time in the Outer Banks! The weather was mostly beautiful with high temps in the low 80’s with low humidity. We had showers one evening but the main weather issue was the wind on 2 of the days at the beach. We had some beach umbrella issues those days. I was thinking of @canderson cursing about the wind! We really enjoyed all that the Outer Banks region had to offer with the beach, the dunes and the nearby historic Wright Brothers and Lost Colony sites.
  11. Thanks, yes we plan on going to the Wright Brother’s museum. We are also going to Roanoke to see the “Lost Colony” show on Tuesday evening. We enjoy mixing in some historic sightseeing on our vacations.
  12. Thanks so much for this great information! Hopefully we can try some of these places.
  13. Lol, I might need to see if I can bribe @sauss06 to see if he can make the short trip up the road to Marysville to mow my yard! I would buy him a case of beer…lol! My lawn might be 1 foot tall by the time I get back after the 2 inches of rain last night!
  14. Good morning everyone! My family & I are on the way to the Outer Banks today for vacation this week. We are staying in Kill Devil Hills, NC. Does anyone have recommendations for places to visit or restaurants to go to down there? I haven’t been down there since I was a kid. Thanks in advance!
  15. No hail here, but the rain & thunder & lightning are putting on a show!
  16. My rain gauge is moving rapidly! 1.79 and counting!
  17. Yes, this lightning is very impressive! It looks like daylight outside when the strong lightning hits.
  18. They just canceled the Tornado Warning. Very heavy rain with Thunder & Lightning now in Marysville.
