  1. Hopefully you & @Bubbler86 get some rains this week.
  2. Beautiful weather this weekend with no humidity, very pleasant evenings & mornings, and seasonable sunny afternoons. I also enjoyed shutting off my A/C the last few days!
  3. @Voyager would just need to drive 2 hours west to get into the temps that he likes! Lol, keep the heat in western PA.
  4. I’m mowing twice a week in Marysville… Lots of rain chances this week per CTP.
  5. Great looking below normal temperature pattern for the next 10 days. Here is the Euro, GFS & Canadian. Time to rest the A/C & open the windows!
  6. Does anyone remember where the Canyon River Rapids ride was located at Hershey Park years ago? I was trying to place it today, but I couldn’t recall where it used to be at the park.
  7. Today was a beautiful day to spend at Hershey Park with my family. Low humidity with a slight breeze made it ideal for me. It was warm enough for the water park and cool enough to make the lines bearable for the rides. The crowd was a little less than full, so the lines were reasonable, and then it cleared out for the last hour, which meant no wait for the last few rides!
  8. Lol…It Could be due to the lack of trees in Harrisburg because of all of the high winds over the years?
  9. Welcome to Met. Summer everyone. It is the only season in which snow is impossible in this forum. 92 days to go until Met Fall begins…not that I’m counting or anything…
  10. This cold front can’t arrive fast enough! I need some relief from this early heat!
  11. I cooled off to 87 but my dew point is now up to 70. Not awesome!
  12. Thanks, it might be time to soon be looking for snow in the Southern Hemisphere!
  13. Thanks, it looks like they dropped my Warning and all appears to be well in my town. Hopefully all is well to you guys to my east!
  14. There’s a Tornado Warning for my exact area…I’m not taking any chances! I can hear heavy rain & thunder now.
  15. I’m in the basement now with my 2 kids and dog in Marysville!

  17. CTP’s discussion does indicate a less optimistic tone for the first half of tomorrow. “The low level jet and plume of deepest moisture will shift east of the region later this evening. However, scattered showers and thundershowers appear likely into the first half of Saturday afternoon with passage of upper low and weak sfc trough. Meager CAPE and weak shear profiles indicate little to no threat of severe weather.”
  18. I learned something here. I’ve never seen a Cloud Fraction map before now.
  19. Hopefully the early cloud cover & showers will reduce the chance of severe storms with less “fuel” to ignite anything strong.
  20. Never good to see… do you think they will extend it into the LSV later on?
