It’s warm, but much better than it would have been if you did yard work yesterday.

Dew point here in Marysville is down to 55 ! Much better than the tropical 70 yesterday.

Sorry to hear that your family was impacted by the storm yesterday. Hopefully all is well soon for them!

I’ll be rooting for rain during the next few weeks. We planted some shrubs in the yard yesterday, so I would like some occasional showers instead of needing to get the hose out to water them!

Good point on the wind…we had one really windy day when I was down there. The rain would make it miserable, especially on the holiday weekend.

My dew point is holding steady at 70. At least it is mostly cloudy here now so it’s not too bad out there yet.

The best thing in that CTP discussion to me is part is that “comfortable humidity” is on the way after today!

Here is more from the CTP discussion. As the air becomes very warm during the midday and afternoon hours, expect scattered strong to severe thunderstorms to develop across the southeast half of the state, along and ahead of the front. Clearing skies, dry weather and lower humidity will move into the northern and western part of the state during the mid to late afternoon hours. The rest of the holiday, including the Fourth of July will be pleasantly warm with comfortable humidity as high pressure builds over the region.

We definitely had at least a light shower overnight, but nothing measurable in my rain gauge.

The good news for me is that we have less than 2 months of Met. Summer to go!
