I came home a few hours ago to a temp of 93 with a dew point of 75, making my Heat Index a ridiculous 107 !

The thunder & lightning is very impressive here in Marysville as well…certainly loud enough to wake me out of my sound sleep. I don’t think that we are getting much rain out of it, but I’ll check my station in the morning.

2.10 of rain in Marysville was recorded in the last week since last Sunday while I was away on vacation. It is nice to get a break from the humidity this weekend. I would have loved to get theses couple of low humidity days while sight seeing this past week in coastal Connecticut & Rhode Island, but we had a great time despite the high dew points.
