Lol… yes, I was waiting for this!
Quick, someone post the famous “It’s Happening” GIF!
History shows that we do quite well with snow after you make posts like this.
Heck, I think you cancelled the yesterday event on Sunday afternoon!
I love it, but I think 2 to 4 is a better call for most of us.
Maybe someone gets lucky in their backyard with 5, but their ruler would likely be slanted…
It’s also 10-1 ….
Also, look around the different sub forums on here…. Many good long time respected posters use WB…including PSU, Cape etc…
Let’s move on….
Bottom line, it’s going to snow again…
Lol, every map in every format from every website has us getting an average of 3 inches.
Some runs will show a little more & some a little less, but at this point it’s safe to say another Advisory event of 2 to 4 is on the way.
Friday is a different set up than today. Also, most totals that I read for today’s event showed 4 inches or so in MD/DC, which was similar to what most had in our region today.
One more thing, Go Canada!
I agree. The Canadian has the heaviest totals north of the MD line through most of our region. A compromise would put southern PA in the sweet spot. This event should have good raitios as well.
Latest HRRR shows some filling in with the light snow through late morning even in southern PA.
Here is the 3 hourly progression & snow still to go on the HRRR.
