So you’re off the “it’s coming train?” -
I said it would be Wednesday before we know anything definitive, but it may actually be Thursday now. This is a complex beast…still evolving.

There was the “all or nothing idea,” which makes sense. But I’m starting to feel now that this could evolve into something where we see something, instead of nothing, but not the monster. But that’s still TBD.

Ahh…first world problems. In the grand scheme of things this means nothing. Just like anything else, everything in moderation. Sure, we’d love to see something encouraging in the next cycle, but if not, we move forward and it’s quickly forgotten about.

Ensembles not letting this go away easily…everyone will be here for 12z runs for sure.

Lol at all the fork in it crap. Can’t write this off at all yet. 0z was a step back, but ensembles(EPS) yet again improve at 6z. Stay the course.

Ya, I mean that isn’t bad at all. 5 days out still. Every run isn’t gonna give us a cat 5 as much as we’d love for it too.

FXWX said earlier that he wouldn’t mind seeing the GFS weaker and east, and the EURO come west some at 0z. He said that would be a good compromise for now. This might be that first step.

The ironic part of that picture, is that as the Euro went ballistic at 0z Saturday night…the GFS lost it on that 0z run, after having it 2 consecutive cycles in a row(12z and18z..just like today) that day. So, will the Euro jump on board tonight at 0z, and the GFS lose it, like back on Saturday. How crazy would that be?

There have been small signs it wants to. EPS improved some too…so there have been some small subtle signs.

For sure…we’re not gonna know which one is more correct right now. There are valid reasons for both sides of the coin currently. We need to just wait and see how this goes…doesn’t seem possible, but this is still 5 days out. Be nice if the 18z GFS can put two in a row together(it did it Saturday) …that would be encouraging.

Btw, nice steady light snow here the last hour..coating. We were progged for zero. So a small win with this thing.

I said yesterday it would probably be Wednesday before we knew for sure what was going to happen with this. Looks to be so. And let’s see what the EPS looks like?

And these are the things that can’t be seen at 7+ day leads, that can change things in either direction unfortunately/or fortunately depending on one’s perspective.
