  1. And just like that moderate snow now. 29 degrees.
  2. @Krs4Lfe might want to take a look at the 12z Euro…have you seen that before?
  3. I think you spoke too soon…take a break, and sober up down there in NYC.
  4. Absolutely. Seems the cold press has been over performing, or under modeled?
  5. It is the tenor…let’s hope GFS is on to something.?
  6. Yes sir. Both places in great shape currently. Nice to see.
  7. Beautiful. Hope it plays out that way. That would probably make it very nice for them…they’re doing ok currently…but that would put some icing on the cake.
  8. That doesn’t sound all that bad if that’s the case. Let’s take our chances.
  9. Right now at 14” for the season to date…not too shabby. Hope we can pick up some more after this week. But whatever. First world problems.
  10. So I guess we suppress, and dry and cold going forward after the thaw….congrats DC and Virginia again? Or maybe more clippers? Good to see the NYC folks in here telling us we won’t see much.
  11. Absolutely. It was just last year that the clippers were said to be gone…you know to the new regime. I guess we found out that is indeed not the case either. This has all been seen and done before. As frustrating as it may be at times. Good cycles, not so good cycles…that’s the way it goes. The consistent cold has been nice for skiing and skating, and for a wintry feel. Let’s see how we do going forward after the brief thaw, and hopefully we can grab a few decent events, for all of SNE.
  12. The point is…it was non stop high fiving out east. And, It’s all relative bro. Whether you’re talking about 8” here, vs 3-4” out your way like last week. Or 24-30” out east, vs 8-10” over here in 2015. To be honest…when it’s historic and you miss(and miss badly)…it’s even worse..way worse. Jan 29th 2022…30 plus where you were. 7-8” of sand here. So that gets lost in the shuffle too. I’d much rather miss out on a 2-4”- 6-8” deal, than historic snows for 6 weeks straight. So don’t go there. In fact, last Fridays storm on 12/26, that little thing was way better here, than 1/29/22(the blizzard)was here…cuz it snowed way harder, and had great snow growth compared to 1/29/22. Let’s agree that it would be nice to grab some heftier systems going forward now.
  13. We had to listen to you guys all very late Jan, and all of Feb 2015 on how awesome it was…when most of us WOR in CT got boned pretty much every single system. Oh ya it snowed, but to the tune of 50-65% less with every one of those storms. So, oh well. But, I do agree, keep the 1” systems now, had enough. Let’s get some significant snowstorms going forward.
  14. I’ll most likely be heading up to N. Aroostook that weekend too, so lock in the storm lol. But I’ll be playing in the snow, so it’s not so bad for me when I think about it like that.
  15. No we understand. But I’ll be honest, give me a slew of 6-8 and 8-10’s and I’d be great. That’s a great set up imo.
  16. This is what could have/cause February to not be a flower February. Just what we wanted.
  17. Said this exact thing last week. Be careful what you wish for as the old saying goes, you just might get it. And We got it.
  18. Looks like close to another inch here this morning…13.5” on the season. Chipping away lol. Can’t really complain here as the others have said. Although a meatier system would be nice too for the whole area.
  19. Yup thanksgiving of 89 was a good one. Feb 83 and April of 82, and yes the late March 84 was good here too. …those are the biggies for CT in the 80’s. Those others that Will mentioned were for eastern areas…missed here in CT.
  20. You’ve been saying this non stop since it got cold…lol. Yes, we lose the negative departures by Wednesday, then it gets cold again after Sunday..so there ya go, the answer to your question.
