  1. True. It’s tough to know Which way are you leaning though ….
  2. Snowgoose said a while back…GFS may not be off it’s rocker this go around.
  3. Ok so maybe a dumb question here from somebody not quite as versed as others…but if the S/W energy is hanging back and consolidating the hast 12 hrs…wouldn’t that be a small sign that the system is not weakening/attenuating, but rather showing signs of the opposite? Or am I completely not understanding .
  4. NWFE…? Lol. Which is a SWFE in reverse. But similar idea..just from a different direction…and reverse the warm air winning out as you said, and replace it with the cold winning.
  5. Gorgeous sunrise Don…soak it up. Great analysis too on this evolution the last couple days.
  6. So Brian, what is this showing…RH at 700mb? That light blue color…is that saturation?
  7. It’s all good my man. Give me 6-8” and I’ll be very satisfied. Just wish most of it was coming during daylight hours…but I’m not complaining.
  8. Lol…I don’t think I’m getting 12”…I think my point is, this has turned into what looks to be a significant region wide event. That was not the case just a very short time ago. My posts from the first page of this threat, mentioned all any of us needed, was incremental shifts over the next 2 days…and that’s what has happened. Especially for those EOR, and beyond. That’s all. Enjoy. I know I’m gonna.
  9. No one in most of SNE(save for the SW half of CT), was even getting a snowstorm 24-36 hrs ago.
  10. GWDLT…in Indiana that is. That’s a summertime low out there.
  11. Most likely not…but this system has grown in size /coverage quite a bit from the earlier ideas.
  12. Well to be fair…this has morphed into something much bigger than it was a day or two ago…this has a pretty good sized qpf shield now, which was not being modeled just two days ago.
  13. Ya, I wouldn’t be so sure of that either…if we listened to you, we wouldn’t be getting tomorrows storm.
  14. Dam…3/4” of liquid. This thing has juiced up into a pretty good sized system.
  15. Good points, Could be…but I don’t think they’re gonna jump yet. Too much uncertainty yet. Dry air, how far this goes NE….etc.
  16. But he said go straight to a warning, where no watches are currently up. I don’t think we’ll see that.
