Not anymore I’m not(used to be yes), but Dews is a Spoon. And I can see why Snowcrazed was irritated. Fun is great..we have it here and it’s all good. But sometimes folks come in to see some actual discussion about what is possibly coming down the road...and aren’t in the mood for dumb stuff like ridiculous sun angle posts on November 22. Ya sure it’s no big deal, but he did that for just one reason...and sometimes some folks just aren’t in the mood. So I’m glad that Snowcrazed gave it back some...it was deserved. As I mentioned a few days back, maybe we start changing things up some, just as our climo starts to kick in here in SNE? That’d be nice.

Very true...but Dews is a big time Nest Poking spoon..plain and simple. And it takes most(2/3) of the winter before any ramping up of sun angle actually plays any role whatsoever. He knows that..but just poked the nest, as always with that guy.

Yes it is. And hey, it’s all anybody has to look at so if there’s some better looks out there towards the end..better that than all Pig all the time imo. And as Has been stated a few times..it’s November...so let’s get the Pig now over the next 2-3 weeks, and then have it transition out, AS we transition into our winter Climo.

Lol...some were constantly saying Nickel and dimes was the theme of that winter, and we’d better enjoy the piddlings cuz it’s all we’re gonna have/get. And it was the very end of January(27th) at that. As we know Things can Change, and fast. And sometimes they don’t. It’s early, very early.

C’mon Spanks...even 2016 which sucked, had a mid Atlantic monster blizzard and a record breaking cold snap, with sub zero low temps on Valentine’s Day weekend, in an otherwise sea of warmth. And we’re worried on 11/18 nonetheless???

Ya..kind of like the Urasian snow cover index and the correlation to good winters in the eastern US? That too looks to be Voo-Doo lol. Nobody really knows....just theories that seem to eventually break down sooner or later..so who knows?

That’s 15 days out...how much reliability does that actually have though? Should we be more apt to believe this look at day 15, cuz it shows something bad for us snow peeps? And If it were looking really good at day 15 on the EPS ...should we be less apt to believe it, cuz it shows something good? Seems like that’s how we seem to lean many times...?

Wasn’t being any way...just saying that it’s never a done deal being so early that’s all. As you and Steve said, if we can time something right going forward...who knows?? I’m choosing to be a bit more optimistic at this point..

Agreed 100%. So that’s my point...kind of in transition like April. I know we are all anxious for that first real snow storm, but it’s still a lil to early usually for most of us in SNE to expect a good winter time pattern at this point. Sure it happens some years..but that’s the exception imo rather than the rule. Although I hate April way more for the most part.

I mean it’s very much still Autumn...normal high round these parts is still about 50-51 degrees. I’m not expecting any type of winter time pattern at this point...so what’s so shitty about this weather/pattern currently? I mean besides the 70’s for 7 days last week (which was fine by me), what’s so unusually shitty for mid November? A month from now I’d be feeling differently, but it’s still only mid November.

Also there is a tropical headquarters, where it can be talked about as much as one wants. This is New England as someone alluded to a few posts back, so that’s why it isn’t being talked about much. Makes sense to me.

To be fair, late November most years is not all that cold in SNE. So that is not that big of a deal for late November imo. Again that’s two weeks from now...so who knows what we have by then anyway? And Late May this year was cold and dank..horrible. And so was 1st half of June...then it snapped and man did the Heat come on in a huge(record breaking) way..all summer long. Things can change fast....
