Careful there with that idea Kev....last time you thought the high was gonna Press and deliver 3-6” before the ice, and that didn’t happen. This could easily be just a cold rain for most in SNE. Take the cautious route on this one as of now...probably more Meh than anything for most south of pike the way it stands currently. It’s got more work to do to be a mostly frozen event.

Ya December has been good, but as Scott said yesterday, it’s gonna take a hit if nothing pops this last week and a half. It’ll go down a full letter grade for sure to “Good” rather than “Great!”

Thats a totally stupid statement! We’ve done quite well of late in the snow department thank you. Feb 13 Jackpotted my area...you win some, you lose some..everybody does.

No I don’t think so? No transportation goes up there in winter by way of the road. Unless you’re going up in a tucker snow cat for the weather station, or on what they call an edu-trip with the observatory. Of course you can hike on foot up there anytime you want...

Great pictures...that was the Virga storm here In the west. We lost hours and hours of precip to Virga. It sucked here. I remember watching the news and seeing pictures of Groton getting annihilated, and we were at just barely moderate snow/sand. What a flop here.
