I'll be in N. Maine, so that has a chance at verifying lol. I actually missed the January 18th event to cuz I was up north. Not that 3.9" is missing out, but it'll be fitting that I missed both meager events if this one next week works out.

Normally, I wouldn't agree with that statement in most every other season, but this one is a true Ratter, so I think you are correct in that assumption this winter. It doesn't want to snow in SNE this winter...and that's all there is to it. It happens every so often, hoping for a normal season next winter.

Ya we needed about another 8 inches or so to even get to the 50% mark of normal snowfall for our area...ya it doesn't get a whole lot worse than this year for SNE. Lets bring on some decent weather come March. Doesn't have to be 60...but sunny and 50 is fine...Heck we've had that most of the winter, so let's keep it going.

Yup me too after the following weekend...sledding will be done for me for the season after next weekend. And on to hopefully a decent spring here-god hope it's not as bad a spring as it was a winter here??? County gonna get hit hard today and tonight...8-12 coming up there...just in time for my Next Thursday trip :-)

Unfortunately this winter just does not want to produce a real snow storm(Warning Event) for SNE. That's a tough feat to pull off all season....futility at it's best. I think my 17 plus inches currently is going to be it for this winter. The ingredients just aren't there to produce even a decent event this year. A True Ratter.

Is it any worse than SARS, or the Avian Bird Flu, or H1N1, or Ebola? I'm honestly asking..and I'm not saying it's not. I mean Ebola is one of the scariest diseases imo...is this on that level? Is it any worse than our own Flu that kills 10's of thousands of folks alone each year in the US? I think these are honest questions to ask? -
Seems like forever since we've even seen a Winter Storm Warning for SNE...let alone a Blizzard Warning. Dam that sucks for us :-(

Nah, lifts and trails will go on for at least a few more weeks....probably more. Some good snow coming for Northern VT, Northern NH, and the Northern Half of Maine this week. Some good skiing and riding still to come up there.

Exactly this. He's a total Troll plain and simple. It's all reaction and once in a while you get a decent post from him...otherwise it's all BS and Trolling. I totally disagree with Powderfreak on this one. And I'm not a fan of the BS winter posts either..those are just as bad...and those should be called out as well. Fooling around is one thing...but when peeps are posting nonsense/Trolling on either side of the coin, more than adding something of value, it shouldn't be tolerated.
