That’s kind of my thinking as well. But that’s a moot point at the moment…we have to see how this thing comes together still. -
But neither is the other philosophy either. Sure if it was crawling it’d be even worse. But we’ve had plenty of very major events with systems that have been really moving along too of late. So that’s where I’m coming from. Still lots to nail down with this anyway…I don’t want to jump to soon just yet. I’m Just liking the trends at 0z so far for most of us.

Because the column was cold all the way up. No warm layer to melt the snowflakes and then refreeze them again into sleet. That’s how.

I remember when he did that hit. My girlfriend was yelling at me to come in,(cuz I was outside in it, and just amazed at the intensity) cuz he was saying 6”/hr rates. What a storm. Ended up with 33+. Boxing Day sucked for the most part..sh*tty snow growth with that pos. Iowa is all mixed up..poor sob.

Although I never bought into this one bit…I Love the irony…we’ve been dank and moist for a week straight…and as soon as there’s a legit system, we dry out just in time for it to eat up any possible precip. Can’t make this sh*t up.

He’s in windham or willimantic I think. None of us are seeing anything. If we lived in New Haven or Groton maybe we’d see a few flakes. But not up this way.

Ya, that was my point to him. Last years grinch melted pack like a flame thrower. While this soup misty fog is hideous, there’s No comparison imo to last years grinch in terms of melting ability.

Yes sir. They go ignore the GFS..it ingested bad data, when it brought the Boxing Day storm back to life.
