Just actually enjoying the opposing views of two smart METS that started yesterday. This will be fun. Nothing wrong with some good ol fashioned competition.

Walt says interesting for 84 area in CT/interior away from coast/water. He was interested yesterday. You were not even remotely on board with anything frozen yesterday. Today you are..albeit still a yawner. So you trended from yesterday. Walt has not. in fact Walt is more interested today than he was yesterday. Maybe you end up right? Maybe he does? I don’t know enough to say who has the right idea today? But I do know who trended from their yesterday ideas, and who did not. Time for you to play with the big dogs Scooter...No guts no glory as they say. That’s how legends are made...ask Harvey.

And Drag doesn’t? No it’s cool. I read Walt’s ideas as you did. He and you are in opposition currently. Although you hedged a tad closer to him today than you were yesterday. He feels it’s very interesting for SNE. You feel yawner. That’s about as opposite as it gets. A lil competition is good Scooter..makes everybody better.

I have to agree on that idea. Walt D. And Scooter going head to head. You’re trending Scooter...you’re trending.

So the bigger question here is, what is Walt D. seeing that you are not...? He thinks it looks very interesting for interior SNE. You however do not think so. Although you have shifted your thoughts somewhat colder than they were yesterday at this time it seems. I’m no MET, but his ideas seem in deep contrast to yours?

EPS yesterday had all rain for the area...that model seems to be playing catch up in this situation..no?

2 weeks only brings us 1/10. You said first half of January is gone. So more like 3 full weeks before any changes.

Fair enough. Was just my observation. I value your opinions and input. For me, I’m just hoping the north country can cash in on some frozen precip, rather than a 55 degree cutter again.

You keep it real most all of the time(I certainly appreciate that). Although, I think at times, you take your frustration with the pattern out on the other folks, that are just talking about modeling that shows a colder idea. And then you disguise your negative frustration as being objective, and keeping it real, when modeling is clearly trending away from the big warm cutter idea. That seems to be your defense mechanism at times, and it seems to be happening to a degree now. I don’t think anybody is expecting a big frozen event in SNE yet. At least they shouldn’t be. Just my observation that I’ve seen you do this on occasion. Doesn’t make you a bad MET, just human. And Don't worry about the die hard weenies...they’re on their own. They’ll learn the hard way.

By the end of this week..up north will be in much better shape than now. And that’s a positive.

Nope...they got wiped out Friday. Picked up a few new yesterday, so at least it’s white, and it’s cold(17 degrees currently) but extremely boney to say the least. need a solid foot plus to get back in the game. They may get some tomorrow and then the 31st/1st deal may help out too? Let’s hope.

I’m just hoping that N. Aroostook can cash in at this point. Bring it for the Real North Country now. They need to rebuild back.

Wow, so you’re saying that winter is pretty much toast then. Pretty depressing for winter enthusiasts if you’re right. So Hope you’re wrong. And hope Ginxy is right.
