  1. Too bad it wasn't building in ahead of it :-(
  2. You ain''t kidding...It's flat out Blown this year.
  3. It is, but it's been abysmal this year...worst I've ever seen it. It's nothing special anymore that's for sure.
  4. Ya no worries Scott...I figured that you meant late March...but then I questioned perhaps you meant late Feb? But I see what you mean.
  5. Yes, but it was a little confusing since we have a week and a half left of Feb, and you're talking about something 5 weeks from now with a late March bomb. So I was thinking the same thing....is he talking about very late Feb? Or very late March?
  6. He’s such a putz!! Just pathetic. You catch him in a lie/contradicting himself..and he lies again to try and get out of it.
  7. Man what a crap year for winter weather in SNE...a Ratter to remember 19-20.
  8. So you’re saying there’s a Chance....After a “War and Peace” novel write up?
  9. Well either way..100 miles over the Maine border, is not just over the boarder imo. 10-15 miles Over then sure. Not 100 miles. And yes...I’ve been to Estcourt station on my sled...other then snowmobiling....why would one go there? There’s nothing there? Fishing perhaps?
  10. You cross the boarder of Northern Maine, and your in New Brunswick. Then when you travel north/northeast from there quite a distance, then there’s the Gaspe Peninsula. At least that’s the way I’ve always thought of it. Unless New Brunswick is considered the Gaspe region? I’ve never heard of that..but maybe that’s just me? Wasn’t trying to split hairs at all.
  11. Well to be fair ...the Gaspe isn’t just over the boarder lol.
  12. I can say that there is much more than 24 inches on the ground in N. ME at the moment. Place is buried. I was there a week ago, and They got 18-20 a week ago today alone. So they are buried and loving it! Probably 40 plus up there currently. And Frigid last weekend, and now this weekend too.
  13. Yes sir. When I was driving home from N. Aroostook that morning...my truck temp gauge saw -28F at 6:15 am. That’s why I said I don’t think tonight beats last Saturday night..?
  14. Last Saturday Night will be really tough to beat though...don’t think it will beat it. But cold nonetheless.
  15. It was a Ratter for sure. But it did have the Octo-Bomb that was really something, and it did have one Warning event in January where I picked up about 6-7". I finished 2012 with about 17-18" that year; and that's where I am at currently for this year. So if no more snow falls, this winter will be as bad as 2012 with regard to snow, but 2012 had a Warning event for my area..where this year so far has not. This winter has not had a Warning event for a lot of folks-we missed out on the big snow in Early December for the most part.
  16. And North is really Loaded up. When it doesn't snow at home....you just go and find it and it's fine. Wish we could grab something before winter passes into history, but maybe this is the Ratter we've been dreading(since 2012). Like Ginxy said, "it happens."
  17. Yup Mark...And I didn't bring it up, somebody else did. They said they were concerned lol. And I share Steve's sentiments for the most part. I don't want to debate it at all. It doesn't worry me one bit.
  18. Amen. Nobody, No government is going to change anything. It's a cycle that will play out just as all the other cycles have played out over Millions of years before humans were even here. We'll all be dead and gone and so will our kids when it does whatever it's going to do. No worrying needed.
  19. Oh GOD....I'm so Concerned LMAO. Meanwhile the ICE in the Arctic as Steve pointed out has increased..but nobody wants to talk about that lol.
  20. Lol..I’m just kidding pal. But it will spoil ya. As we said above 100-125 is easy to do. And 160-200 is not that hard to do. But It’s not about the miles for me anymore...I do what I feel I want to. I average probably about 125-140 a day..sometimes a lil more, sometimes a lil less.
  21. I hear ya...125 is fine for me now too. But in N. Maine(and where Jeff goes in Eustus/Jackman) you would probably be a 160-175 miler in those areas cuz the conditions are so good most all the time.
  22. Warning cleetus: You’re gonna be sorry...after riding in Maine, other areas lose their luster lol.
