    We good to go…gonna be a nice event for a lot of folks…6-8” is a good storm no matter what winter, but for this one it’s a major grab imo.

    Stop your worrying now. 6-8” per the NWS. It’s gonna be a good event for you. These meso’s are gonna jump around like they always do. 6”, 8” 7”…etc etc… at this point it’s game on for CT…and WOR is in a good spot. It’s been consistent for a good 2-3 days now with 5-8”. Now just enjoy.

    Better late than never pal. It’s still winter and we take. I got 1.5” Saturday with accidents all over town here..was so slippery, so winter finally is here. This should get me into double digits on the season at least(at5.8” now lol).

    Euro is just pretty bad now(JAM). Feeling good here for 6+ in the warning zone. Box has 6-8” here. That’s a nice event in any winter…And in this one it’s a monster storm. We take.

    This thing is still far off. A couple days ago Tuesday’s storm was a monster, and an AEMATT jackpot, and. now it’s congrats Western CT with a much more subdued system. This will probably get way toned down too…whatever the outcome.

    I’ll take my 8-10 on the NAM. Thanks. Got about an inch and a half here today…didn’t expect that with 20! Degree temps, roads were a disaster. Up to 5.8” on the season lol.

    Exactly. Just puts a bad taste in one’s mouth from the get go…and what we feared looks to happen.

    Lol…nothing is strong for us here this season, but everywhere else it’s monster storms all over the f’n country. And then we get the junk. Sad.

    Absolutely. It’s the tenor of the season. But now it’s 7 days out, maybe that’s a better sign? Too far away for any meaningful predictions anyway. Only that a storm is a possibility.

    That’s 6-8” here…pretty much what the GFS shows. If that’s what it ends up being, I’m fine with that.

    Imo…Euro doesn’t carry no where near the weight it used to…JAM(just another model) now. Is it still major league, sure. But the GFS is just as good now. GFS has been pretty steady with 6-8” for a lot of SNE…I think that’s still doable at the moment. Unless things fall apart..which is always a distinct possibility this winter for sure.

    I was thinking that too…south is ok at the moment…gives a lil wiggle room for any trends north a couple days from now.

    8 days out….if it shows sense qpf on Thursday next week, we’ll all be happy if it tracks underneath us.

    It’s fine to admit that, but I never bought in to the 18+ amounts either at that range. I’m at 4.3” for the season to date, so I’ll take 4” if that’s what it ends up being, cuz thats as much as I’ve seen in the last 3 months combined. But Let’s see where we are come Sunday.

    Lol…well doing it somewhat then. But I’ll gladly take 4-6, or 6-8 here.
