  1. Not that I’m some pro, but that ridge and trough couplet looks pretty decent to me, on that depiction. But I could be all wrong too.
  2. Hey, I get it. It’s something to watch. Good enough for now.
  3. He did…he said close the shades for a couple weeks…it’s the same thing.
  4. GEORGE. But at this point…is it really that odd?
  5. Well the Honking threat Honked right the hell out of here…so I’ll take lil improvements over time. All kidding aside…I hear ya Will. Whatever the case, it’s a lil something to watch I guess.
  6. Oh ya I got what you meant bud. I was meaning two in one season…not necessarily a couple weeks apart. Be nice to get an east coast version at some point.
  7. Ahhh c’mon Bob…at this stage of defeat, it doesn’t matter much. Tips thread went south on us faster than a flash of lightening.
  8. Just messing around George. No worries starting the thread. Ya can’t do any worse than what just happened with the last one. Knock yourself out.
  9. We can’t see two weeks apart at this stage to save our lives. But I agree..it is very much against the odds. Just found it funny.
  10. I thought we were told to close the shades for at least two weeks….
  11. Lol..why don’t we concentrate on this winter which doesn’t officially start till tomorrow lol. We can’t tell what the next two weeks brings…let alone next year.
  12. it’s not only modeling that needs to show a system.…maybe the guys sees something from years of doing this for a living that makes him feel a certain way. What he forgot about meteorology, most will never know. I completely agree, the guy is a talented MET. If he thinks there’s a change, or is comparing to January 96, I’ll believe him at this point. Nothing else has worked. So it can’t be any worse. And IMO, DT can’t hold a candle to Cosgrove.
  13. Yup, that was fortunate for you guys. Not so much back west. Dam, I hope we can get something soon Jerry.
  14. Gave me 11” or so…but it sucked compared to what NYC and Jersey got.
  15. Boxing Day was a bust and gone out to sea until 1.5-2.0 days before, when the GFS brought it back out of the blue. And then it dry slotted alot of us, and absolutely Crushed NYC and Jersey. Then it melted completely 4 days later on a Rainey warm NYE. Not the best start that year either.
  16. Thanksgiving of ‘89…real nice snow storm in CT.
