Ok, thanks John for the info. Good stuff. We’ll see how it plays out. I think more my point was..the winds don’t verify as forecast most times inland. Maybe they do this time. -
Way to Stick by your convictions. But That H5 look is a modeled look that may, or may not be correct as well. Keep that in mind.

Ok. I guess we’ll see how it plays out. I’m not expecting to be to impressed as I said, but maybe I’ll be wrong this time.

A gust or two of that is meh. If it’s sustained and you get gusts on top of that, that’s diffferent. Most of the winds were in the 40’s. Point is, the winds almost always disappoint here way more than not. I’ll take the under being inland every time on something like this, and be correct 99% of the time. Been disappointed too many times buying in on this stuff. So I’m expecting it to be nothing that impressive. If I’m wrong, I’ll be the first to admit it, and say it delivered.

Just watched Ryan…he’s got about 50 to mid 50’s for the highest winds…that’s pretty meh overall Kev. You know the deal with this stuff…take the under.

I absolutely agree. And we should keep half an eye on it, and I know we will. But we just can’t seem to catch a break lately…most everything that has “a chance”( whether a long shot or otherwise) can’t seem to make it into the shorter range with some improving trends. The legs(no matter how short/small) get chopped out from under it before there’s a chance for it to get any closer than 6-7 days. Discouraging start to the season to say the least.

Did you expect anything different from TBlizz George? Guy never met a storm he liked right off the bat anyway. Hem and haw himself to 4-8” in the end. He’s just trying to bust your chops as well. Can’t tell from this vantage point anyway. Let’s see what the Euro shows at 1:15.

Yup I get it. We’ll see how it plays out for everybody there…and here. I'm not sold on the winds here yet…they almost always underwhelm for most here inland (unless along the coast, or on a mountain top), but maybe this will be the 1%er this time around.

Also, I think tomorrow’s and Fridays big storm needs to move in and then out of the way, to see how that affects things for this potential as well…?

Ok fair enough. I was referring to the “generational” monicker. That was premature and hype. Is it Impressive? Yes it looks to be.

Looks like it’s safe to say that the “generational storm” calls were premature, and are gonna fall way short for many in the midwwest. It’s gonna be a good/major storm event for some out there, but generational it’s not gonna be the way it looks now.
