  1. That’s mostly my point…looks better north. So not thinking much happens in CT. But as I said, we’ll see how much sun we get tomorrow, and see how things come together? Looking good on paper fails more than not here with severe. But I’ll side on it not being a big deal in most of CT as of now.
  2. I’ll believe it when I see em coming in from the west tomorrow…severe underperforms 90% of the time here in SNE. We’ll see what it looks like tomorrow?
  3. Yes, The Nordic Lodge is awesome! Haven’t been in years, but it was fabulous when I went. Prime Rib was great too. Seafood is incredible as you said. Gonna make a point to go again soon.
  4. Well of course…we could get 6” next season I suppose. But I’ll bet against the 6” season next year, and also against another 12” season back to back that’s for sure..especially when average is about 50”. This isn’t Baltimore. So ya, we gonna bounce back this next winter season…you’ll see.
  5. It’s been a mundane summer here so far…not much heat at all, lots of clouds and humidity with very average temps.
  6. ‘20 too here Ginxy. Almost 3 months without rain(extremely lil) in western CT.
  7. Very true. But that was bad here….watering couldn’t/struggled to even keep up it was so hot and dry here that summer. But I hear ya.
  8. Ominous! Heading to St Agatha Friday. Lakeview celebrating 40th anniversary this weekend. Supposedly bringing my girl(she’s never been up there lol). One of her girlfriends stays the summer and Fall in Eagle Lake, so that got her to go with me. She’ll see it green instead of white, and 70-80 plus degrees warmer too. Should be fun. Staying on Long Lake. Haven’t been up there in 25 yrs in the summer, so I’m looking forward to it.
  9. Lol…and 3 years ago(2020) nobody could even buy a cloud, let alone a brief shower, or even a drop, at least here anyway in summer 2020.
  10. Primed for a height of the season, to late season Caine up this way….
  11. And it can’t be any worse(here at least..SNE)than last year. 12 inches and some change for the entire 22-23 season here. I’ll take the high on that happening again two years straight. This year could also be a Rat, and still easily beat last year here…so ya I’m optimistic too.
  12. I obviously wasn’t born in 65-66, and don’t know what the winter did that season, but if you and Jerry would take it(I know you weren’t around then either), count me in too.
  13. The first mistake was listening to Stein….he’s a bit much.
  14. That’s a lot of rain…hopefully that’ll be it for your issues. I had 6 plus inches here in Tropical storm Ida back on September 1st ‘21, pretty much all came from 9 pm to 2 am…insane rates.
  15. You’re gonna get some heavy rain….now you can stop the drought talk Mr Stein Jr.
  16. Let’s hope by the time we are ready to sled…this is all repaired and just a memory. I’m hoping with you pal that it isn’t an issue by December…
  17. Yup. Or shall we say Ohhhhkemo. Tons of damage there unfortunately…sad. High and dry here, thankfully zero issues. Been plenty wet of late, but no flooding, and this event vastly missed which was fine by me, (.65”).
  18. Yes, so far, but That big blob coming across LI gonna get us good I think…that’s been building decently the last hour or two.
  19. I haven’t been in here in months…and I check in quick and T Blizz hasn’t missed a beat, complaining of dry conditions now lmao.
  20. April can bring the heat when it wants too was what I was meaning …a couple days here or there is meh.
  21. Yup…it can do just about anything.
  22. It happens though in April…but it’s a scorcher for sure.
  23. Well the first 3 days of next week look to be in the 50’s as of this time…that’s not summer lol. Later next week upper 60’s looking likely. However the last 3 days have certainly been summertime feeling.
  24. 90 here…And we’re not done yet.
