Who needs to save winter lol? I don’t understand why you come in here, and say these type of things? Winter doesn’t start until 12/21. And if you want to go by MET winter it started a few hrs ago. We are progressing along just fine. All of this has been discussed and is/was expected. I assure you, this isn’t last winter..at all. So can I ask you John, does the upper air pattern and pattern recognition match what the Euro is spitting out today? And if it does, then should we expect the Euros idea from today to prevail?

And if The Euro blinks…this is exactly what I was talking about this morning. I hope for your guys sake, it holds steadfast, and schools the GFS this time around.

I get your point, but this is Not quite the same Mark…but great pictures. Liken it to an 11 year old 2013 XRS 800, beating that more than a decade newer brand new 850 in everything but comfort and looks, but then saying well the styling, the seat and instrumentation is a whole lot better on the 2024. That’s what this seems like. But who cares…I know I can’t have any confidence like I used to in the Euro anymore, in the 96 hr and less range, like I did 5-10 yrs ago. And that’s all I know.

Lol call it what you guys want…nobody is falling in love with dumb ass clown maps, or saying because the euro showed a snow storm yesterday and not today it’s worse. Ultimately it isn’t as good anymore…ya can take the scores for the Himalayas and for the Gobi dessert and burn em..the model has lost its mojo. Sure, the GFS is a lot better now, but it’s still not as good as the Euro was 8 yrs ago. As somebody said..to sensitive now is probably the case, I agree. Moving on…I guess we wait a little longer in SNE..

But at least ya knew. Now ya don’t. Sure, you guys can point to it’s scores here or there…but it’s not as good with sniffing out the goods like it used to be.

Agreed they are very valuable…but to be honest, I think we’ve ultimately taken a step back with all the supposed updates and supposed improvements, than we were 5-8 yrs ago. Back when the Euro was king…most of the time we knew what we were gonna get(a good storm or not, not exact amounts of course) 3-4 days out. We don’t anymore. The last 2-3 yrs have been abismol at 24 hrs out. The Euro would lock on…and it was game over for the other junk, and they’d all trend to basically what the Euro had synoptically speaking.

Agreed. Probably means nothing but it was a lil improvement. Let’s see what the goofy euro does in an hour.
