  1. Decembers usually aren’t. I think that’s the whole point. If you get a good one, ya gotta savor it. But don’t expect it.
  2. Well we are in different sides there and that’s fine. I don’t know blue wave. But I do know Allsnow..and he’s a spoon.
  3. Very rare for him, cuz he’s over performed there more often than not the last 10 plus years. What year was the Xmas morning snow? 2017?
  4. Very rarely. And don’t come in here from Jersey and NYC and try and spoon crap up. Ya..that pisses me off. Come in here and contribute something of substance, and it’s great..like Ant. They’re also viewing it from a mid Atlantic lens, which isn’t accurate for us in quite a few instances. Point is, just don’t be a spoon, and we’re all good. That’s not too much to ask. I wouldn’t go there, and be a spoon.
  5. Wow…now that’s a man high. So it’s providing low level cold…so does that result in any mixed precip for us inland folks?
  6. So what’s this High…? Before or after this supposed storm?
  7. Yup. And the fact that last year was so dam bad for a lot of us.
  8. That was the virga storm here…took forever for it to break through here..robbed us of alot of accumulation.
  9. But it ratted anyways, so who cares. The difference is, you’ll do better this year than last. Much better.
  10. ‘92 was a good one here in the sense we had everything. Ponding heavy rain and wind all day, then late at night it flipped to heavy snow…snowed heavy the whole next day. About a foot hete… up the road at higher elevation 2.5-3.0 times that amount. Crazy storm for sure. But they’re very rare. It’ll happen again, just hope you’re around to see it.
  11. Yes, a very frosty morning here too..24 for the low. We’ve had many frosts and freezes already this autumn…last year at this point it was almost non existent(very few).
  12. Lol, The wind clown maps will be coming soon…
  13. Take em all down..let’s go. probably By the time it gets here it’ll be down to 1004 mb with light rain lol due to Euro overamped bias…
  14. I’ll take that as a huge compliment….the guy makes perfect sense. And he’s completely right. While we have utter clowns and buffoons literally saying nothing changes, and we punt until late January. I mean these folks are completely senseless. And take a good look at Wills post, and how many folks “Liked” it(there were many), and you’ll see that the senseless folks aren’t in there liking a great post. But they like the buffoonery posts constantly. They know who they are. And that’s all you need to know. Thank you Will for putting it in perspective.
  15. I’d rather a dong, than a nipple…
  16. And there in lies my whole problem with these guys that come in here, and then lump SNE in with their region, and then also troll the SNE folks when we talk about a system, or a period of time that may be of interest to “our” region. It takes valuable input away, and replaced it with BS trolling nonsense, that upsets and irritates the subforum. No problem if you want to come in here, but don’t detract from the conversation with constant trolling and nonstop negativity.
  17. True, but so is last years Rat. Touché’
  18. I guess my point Brian is that 14-15 was horrible until the last few days of January here in SNE…and Xmas eve that year was 72-73 degrees during the day. Looked like a Rat was imminent for sure here that year…then it changed. We already have folks cancelling to late January, so let’s try for another 14-15.
  19. Love how some are already canceling out to late January…. Hey why not..14-15 did exactly that. And Xmas eve in 2014 was 72 degrees. So let’s do this.
  20. Off hour runs…are well, just OFF. They suck.
  21. As we figured…a few select spots..but that’s the extent.
  22. Got a good laugh…I like the metal folding chairs naked line. But this is just what we’re talking about…we knew as we closed in(especially the last 24-36 hrs) that the threat for wind would diminish…because most times that happens inland. Now of course it’s not a 100% certainty, but it’s very high 90’s percentiles easily. Those wind maps are almost always way inflated, and never verify. If we’re talking tropical systems, then that’s a different animal obviously. But these are more often than not duds regarding wind for most areas in SNE. The rain was prolific..but mostly forgettable for the most part. I know you wanted something exciting, I think we all did obviously, but this wasn’t it pal. But got a laugh out of your post..good one.
