  1. I’m sure there’s been some others in my 56 years of life that have been close, but this certainly has been stellar. I mean since mid August here(almost 10 weeks) it’s been absolutely ideal. Certainly nothing to complain about. But I think we’re all ready for some storminess in the not to distant future. But I’ll take another few weeks of this to get us close to thanksgiving, then we can start the storms up some.
  2. Ya that would be ideal and fun. Great explanation too.
  3. Just reiterated that Dice man nursery rhyme last week lmao…it’s a good one. Mary had a little lamb was a good one too. He had some real nasty ones.
  4. That’s my point completely. It was 38 this morning, now 62, what can be better.
  5. But Who really cares if you get a frost, and then it warms up after. I don’t. My only point was we’ve had a frost, and growing season is done here. Maybe not everywhere, but in a alot of places it’s over. At 980ft if the eggplants are still growing that’s cool too. But most places in New England the growing is finished. And that’s a fact.
  6. As you’ve shown, it doesn’t always correlate. Sometimes it does. Sometimes it doesn’t.
  7. More places have had a freeze frost though Already. Granted you haven’t due to your elevation, but that’s more the exception, than the rule.
  8. What’s not right? It’s called Indian summer.
  9. lol most all of us have already had our frosts/freezes…DIT is far behind. The rest of us enjoy our Indian summer.
  10. 38 driving in to work. Up to 63 or so is the forecast. Just Beautiful weather.
  11. 67 was where it stayed. It was another beautiful day. So the forecast temp for today was spot on here.
  12. Still holding at 67, with DP of 47.
  13. Yes…so you’re well over. I’m curious to see where we end up in a couple hrs?
  14. I actually like the early sunsets. It’s relaxing for me.
  15. Forecast high is 67 here, and that’s exactly where we are currently. A couple more degrees is possible too before we end the climb today.
  16. It was bound to happen, we had so much rain last year, at some point it was gonna dry out, and here we are.
  17. That’s kind of how it goes most of the time.
  18. Of course, we are getting past peak now, leaves are dropping fast, and the oaks with the brown are starting to take center stage now. But Late last week, and especially over the weekend and into Monday, it was spectacular.
  19. Except for that monster in your front, Chop those things down. WTF?
  20. I mean it can’t be like San Diego forever here in SNE…something is gonna give at some point.
  21. I’m thrilled. Who doesn’t like this? 74 here. About 8 degrees cooler than yesterday. Feels great. However, The hype is sickening, and so is the selling of a winter season that won’t start for 8 weeks yet. Just remember one thing…the Tropical season was supposed/forecast to be off the charts active. All the ingredients were there for it to be an incredibly active year. And How did that work out? Don’t count your chickens before they hatch.
  22. Thanks. It was very good here too..starting to pass peak now some…but the end of last week, and over the weekend was spectacular.
