  1. Yup…same with me(2022 F150 Platinum Powerboost) with 7200 watts of power built in, that’s big time power. I have a 220 generator outlet that obviously takes a generator cord. You can literally power your home if you wanted to if your power went out. Just put the truck into generator mode, and she turns off and on(gas motor) as needed to keep the system charged. Serious feature that’s no joke. It’s a true rolling generator. Love mine.
  2. 30 yrs ago it wasn’t all too cold at times either. And then there were years that were. And years before that there were warm periods too….early 1900’s weren’t all too cold at times. Cycles of warmth and cold have been happening a long time. It will cycle back again at some point…you can bet on that. Other parts of the world have been absolutely frigid, while we’ve been milder the last several years too.
  3. But I think that more of the point is, it isn’t even close to 2012, nor it’s supposed little brother either. Some Folks like to push their own ideas and narratives around here. Whether it’s just for fun, or not, I don’t know? But as we’ve pointed out, March and April(spring that year) 2012 was the unicorn for gorgeous weather. Those are just as rare as the Feb 15’s imo. So I think that’s where Gynxy and Runnaway are coming from. And I have to agree with them. We will certainly enjoy today, and tomorrow..gonna be very nice. But then it changes to much cooler and unsettled. Where as 2012 did not change back to normal spring weather that year. There in lies the big difference. No matter what some may claim and say.
  4. They fit in most standard garages. Full size crew cab(four full doors) with the short-box fits in(not much room to spare), but it will fit.
  5. This. I’ve had one for decades…and I don’t think I’d ever not have one. I Use its capabilities constantly. And they are so well made, and ride so well now, with all the amenities if you desire …it’s the best of both/all worlds imo.
  6. I use mine to tow my sleds and trailer, and it gets absolutely filthy beyond belief on a 550 mile journey one way(1200+ both directions), on multiple occasions each winter. So it gets worked and serves me well. But when I get home, I can’t wait to wash and clean it, to get it looking nice again. So I do both with mine, so I see both sides of the coin, and participate in both sides of that same coin .
  7. We certainly share this passion….but I guess if I lived on a dirt road like some of the folks, I’d still get the salt and sand and road chemicals off the best I could in the winter months(every 7-10 days or so), to save the finish and exposed undercarriage the best I could. Obviously we wouldn’t spend the extra(time and money) on getting them perfect like you and I like them, if we lived on the dirt and gravel roads they do. But I’d try my best to keep it respectably clean in that environment.
  8. Lol..ya you’re close to NYC climate down there. It’s 60 here. Still very nice out though today.
  9. Perhaps..but my post was more just to wear. But I can understand that.
  10. Everybody has their own ideas on how to dress themselves lol..who gives a flying F**k what folks wear? Wear whatever ya want. Shorts at 35 is ridiculous…but if that’s your thing, knock yourselves out. If there’s no breeze and it’s sunny and 60, then I could see myself wearing shorts. But again, who cares lol.
  11. 3 of us, so 3 ways for the winter.
  12. The sun lol….eventually it’ll come back.
  13. 25.5” this year. 12.3” last year.
  14. The boys(3 of us go in on a cabin for the season). They took 2 trips(I took 1), I couldn’t break away when they went the second time due to work. Never thought this season that I wouldn’t have another opportunity this year, but so it goes. After late January..they got zero snow, it was cold enough, just no storms got up there. 2016 was another bad year up there where I was only able to take one trip(in March). I’m usually able to take 3-4 trips, but not this go around.
  15. Ya riding is done…we’re heading up this weekend to get gear and equipment out of cabin. But the area should get some decent snow Sunday and Sunday night. But there’s no base, clubs have packed up, and it’s over unless you live there, and you can go out for a rip.
  16. Nah, Some spots will do well. Don’t get too carried away.
  17. This year here is better than both of those….it all depends where you are. Still a Rat, but just not the The King Rat.
  18. It lasted longer than 2 days up here…but it’s April and all. We were out of school for a quite a while..which was a nice little bonus at the time.
  19. Loved snow(the weather) for as long as I could remember. My mom shares the passion with me on that too. The winters of the late 70’s(76-79) really were what got me so excited. Funny thing is I remember the winter of 72-73 well, even though I was barely 5…and that was a lousy winter as you pointed out. Small piddling events here and there…lousy.
  20. Well This is New England…and it’s certainly not out of the realm of legitimate possibility here…so I’m sure Anthony was more speaking for this area, rather than the concrete jungle of NYC.
