I didn't know any either, knew some of the country and I listen to sports radio all day.

I used to listen to a lot sports radio. I got tired of Mazz. Same with Ordway. Hill is unlistenable. So is T&R. I like Bertrand ok.
Laugh if you will, but I listen to Gunsmoke, Dragnet, Suspense, and a few other dramas on channel 148. Actually some of the best written stuff ever.
I was born 50 years too late.

Sad I didn't know one nominee from any of the rock categories on the Grammys. I knew all the country and a bunch of R and B, Blues, Jazz

I dont even know much of the country anymore. If they don’t play it on Willies Road House or channel 56 (80’s and 90’s country) I don’t know it.

My grandaughters are obsessed with vinyl and 60 70 80s music

To me the 70’s stuff and even the 80’s up to say 85 or so was some of the best music made. But then again that’s what I grew up on and listened to in college so I’m probably a little biased. My son’s play list has stuff from AC/DC, Phil Collins, Skynard, Zeplin, Hall and Oats, Righteous Brothers, etc. Pretty eclectic, but I dont think he has much from today except for Amos Lee and some Bruno Mars stuff.

What the hay is Alexandria Steel wearing on TWC today!?!?! Those shoulder pads are right out of the Dynasty wardrobe and Joan Collins and Linda Evans are both jealous....

My daughter says 80's are coming back. And looking at my son's  and his friends hair, the 70's arent too far away either.

I told him last night he needs to go with me and get a #1 high and tight.

  5. So I just saw on the CVS site there’s appointments available in Holyoke. I fill out everything, then hit the button to schedule, and it says “we’re sorry, no appointments available”. The site is effed up.

I know people from E MA coming all the way to the CVS in Greenfield for shots.

I’d drive an hour plus if I had too. I’m not too worried I’ll die if I dont get it, but I think the more people get shot up the faster this goes away and we get back to normal. I wanna go to Fenway. ( yea they’ll suck but at this point I don’t care. I just wanna see a live game).

How do you get on call list if they're getting ready to throw away vax or is that not happening anymore? Not eligible till May

I don’t know. I think you just have to live on that CVS site. I dont think there’s a call list, at least not in mass. I could be wrong.
I also tried the Walgreens site, but it’s not much better.

If you can get it through CVS you can choose between available appointments by manufacturer. It is clunky but I was able to choose from the three.  I had chosen the first available (Pfizer and I would have had to drive 1.25 hours) but there were appts for the others on later dates.   I ultimately cancelled the appt since I got one sooner and locally.

I’ve tried the CVS site for over a week with no success. I’ll find it tells me there’s appointments available, but when I get through the process, it says “ sorry, no appointments available”. Frustrating to say the least. I did sign up on the states new website on Friday. I got a text with an ID number and said I was registered. Now I guess I wait. I’m eligible now, but I don’t know how it lines people up. Maybe takes those eligible at random? First signed up, first served? There’s probably a million that are eligible now but they only get 150,000 first doses a week.

My company was going to give it out, but those kind of applications got cancelled due to lack f product.

And to think that 5 minutes after I posted this we got a call from my wife’s friend who is volunteering at a local clinic. They once again had some leftovers and said if we can get there in 10 minutes we could both be vaccinated.

I drove so fast.  We both got Pfizer 1.

Getting this is like Hunger Games or some kind of blood sport.

  10. I’ll interrupt this compelling market talk with the first indication of the upcoming season.
Driving through Cambridge this afternoon on the way to the Pike I spotted the first obligatory yoga pants and flip flops of the season.
And she was definitely not guilty.

He’s pretty open. My front melted off, but I have the sunniest lot in the hood haha.

If Tuesday would have happened 3 weeks from now, we would have lost a lot today. It was pretty warm out in the sun. I took my kid to flag football practice (indoors) around 2 and I was a little warm even in just a hoody.

  12. BOX says 16.5”. I measured right around 18”. One town over in Grafton was at 17”, so close enough I guess. My Ariens made quick work out of it. And it was heavy stuff.
Everyone in Worcester county with a pack fetish should be all set for awhile.
