  1. So far so good. Only been 2.5 hours. We’ll see in the morning.
  2. I’d starve to death on 1200 a day.
  3. Guy that lived next door to me in the dorm when I was a freshman in college had a red plastic one. Cheap azz thing. Had white lettering on the side that said “Corrosive Explosive”. And the thing was corrosive. He didn’t change the water very often and it smelled awful. He’d wake and bake by 7 am.
  4. Ok here we go. Just got my second jab. Waiting my 15 minutes.
  5. Sure, but this was 1978 and if a cop even thought there was pot within 100 miles you were going to OZ with Vern Schillinger as your celly
  6. Friend of mine in high school set the carpet in his bedroom closet on fire with a grow light trying to grow pot.
  7. It’s long and I just skimmed it. I’ll read it and get back to you
  8. I’ve been in science and medicine for 38 years. Ive found about 1/3 of what’s published and touted is flat wrong. Another 1/3 is pretty much on the money and the other 1/3 is somewhere in between. Worst thing to ever happen to science is google and the masses reading scientific papers that they can’t vet properly.
  9. No kidding. Smoke all u want but can’t lay a C note on the Pats
  10. Same here. I never wore one outside either.
  11. Lets get back to Stein, Trixy just showed up. UGH
  12. Oh people will do that for anything. I've seen it more than once
  13. Stein, Stein, everywhere is Stein. I head to the Natick Mall in about an hour to get my second jab.
  14. Channel 7 was the worst for alliteration. I rarely watch the news anymore. Cable or local. I'll catch Harv at 10:20 on MeTV while I'm waiting for Hogans Heroes to come on, hoping its a Hochstetter of Burkhalter episode.
  15. You haven't been to Boston, Cambridge or Brookline lately? Holy moly, all you see are masked people on the street. Its rare to see someone without one. Its a sea of faceless people as far as the eye can see.
  16. I think you're right. Even old Mr. fear mongorer himself Ashish Jha said in a Globe article yesterday its time to end the outdoor mandates. Articles in Slate and the Atlantic said the same thing. If those publications are on board, then its just a matter of time. Not sure about open. I guess it depends on how one defines "open"
  17. They offer once a week free testing at work. Not mandatory. I’ve never had the need to do it.
  18. My family did once when we came back from Disney. I had to so I could get back to work and the kids had to in order to get back in school. My wife had to get tested or they wouldn’t let the kids in school unless the whole family tested negative.
  19. I think the metric that “powers that be” want to use before saying it’s ok to unmask and open is cases under 10,000. That’s about 200 cases per day per state, on average. That’s a pretty low baseline. I honestly don’t know what the steady state positives will be nor what the baseline vaccination rate will be. The baseline case number to unmask and open up will have to be more than 10k per day I would think. I’m not sure that number is really attainable even in the medium term. On another note, I get my second Moderna tomorrow at 4:28. Yes the times are that granular. I have to say I’m a little apprehensive.
  20. We go to PiNZ in Milford some. Cant just get a beer and bowl. Have to get some kind of food. Doesn’t make much sense. A few months ago, Friday’s wouldn’t bring your beer until you ordered the food. They brought my wife’s ice tea, and the kids lemonade while we were deciding what to order, but they wouldn’t bring my Sam Adam’s until we ordered. That silliness lasted a few weeks.
  21. Hopefully Massachusetts follows. Look for outdoor mask mandates start to go away in the next month or so from what I’ve read.
