Topped out at 95 yesterday. Dew point was up too. Feels like temp hovered around 110 most of the afternoon.

Yesterday we hit 93 and today we are already at 93 at 2 pm. Looks hot until Friday.

Low of 59. First time into the 50's since late May.

New month. Post your obs here. Beautiful day here for September 1st. Low of 63, high of 81. Dew points in the low 60's all day made for a comfortable late summer day.

We usually get that once or twice a year when the dew point is already in the low 80's and a brief shower comes thru and immediately afterward the sun comes out. Absolutely miserable when that happens.

My monthly stats: Highest temp - 97 Lowest temp - 61 Highest dew point - 85 Lowest dew point - 60 Rainfall - 8.93" with 6.23" of this coming down this week.

So far we have received 4.10" from Idalia. Still some light rain and drizzle around. Winds gusted into the mid 30's this morning. They are slowly calming down now. Temp is a nice cool 70 just before noon. Edit: Ended up with 4.15" from Idalia. Sun has come out and the temp is a beautiful 72.

High of 87 before the clouds moved in. The heavy rains from Idalia have finally arrived. Bucket has .52" so far today.

High of 91. Very muggy out there. Just after 6 pm it is 85/79 for a feels like temp of 98.

I haven't been following Franklin much but that is a beautiful presentation. So glad no one is at risk from it.

Wonderful rainy late morning and early afternoon we have had. Picked up 1.76" in the bucket.

Hit 90 today. Storms moved in but stayed just out of reach. Outflow cooled us down. Steady rain is now upon us and have picked up .23" since about 7pm.

Hit 93 today. Surprise of the day was in rainfall. Despite a 10% chance of rain, a nice storm popped up and slowly moved thru giving us .79" in the bucket. That was our biggest rainfall since Aug 5th.

High yesterday was 89. We haven't hit 90 since the 21st. We are so dry and badly need some rain.

Low of 67. Nice morning to walk to pups. High of 87 but dew points in the mid 60's kept our feels like temp below 90 for the first time since June.

High of 97. Still no rain. Tomorrow looks just as hot.

High of 94. Dew points in the mid 70's kept our feels like temp below 105. We need a good rain. Sitting at 1.91" for the month.

Yesterday at 1:40 pm, we were at 92. Most impressive though was that our dew point hit 84.5 for a feels like temp of 121. The storms last night fell apart before hitting us but did send a nice gust front through which helped to drop our temps down a bit. Only picked up .06" last night.

Another steamy day here. Currently at 1 pm it is 92/83 for a feels like temp of 117.

Soared up to 96 with a feels like temp of 117 before a storm moved in. Only dropped .14" in the bucket but it dropped the temp down to 78.

Noon right now and it is 92/81 for a feels like temp of 112. It feels horrible out there. Edit: Had a high of 95 before some storms skirted us. The outflow cooled us down to 83 but we got no rain. Currently at 6:20 pm it is 89/82 for a feels like temp of 110.

Had a quick moving storm drop .32" in the bucket this evening.

Line pretty much fell apart before hitting us but still managed .21".

I was reading on FB that some models are showing no storms while others are showing a good outbreak of severe weather.

Clouds and rain kept our temps down yesterday but not the humidity. High yesterday was 82 and the rain bucket picked up .94" for the day.
