Low of 35 this morning. Freeze watch up for tomorrow morning.

Been raining almost all day today and still steadily raining. What a great soaking we are getting. 1.15" so far today. 1.82" is our 2 day total so far. 3.58" for the month.

Been cloudy and windy most of the day. High was 75, low was 55. No rain as of yet. Edit: Had a nice storm move thru, dropping .67".

Had a surprised low of 37 this morning with scattered light frost. Forecast was for the low 40's. High was 69. Perfect for the beginning of spring.

Warm. 80 at noon. Had a high of 82 after a low of 57.

Another beautiful day here today. Low of 37, high of 71. dew point has climbed from the 20's yesterday to the 40's today.

Low of 24 and the ground wasn't even frozen. Shows how warm the ground had gotten this past week. Currently only 38. May not even hit 40 today. High is predicted to be 49.

Front finally made it thru here. Squall line came thru just before 10 am with winds in excess of 30 mph and very heavy rain. Picked up .85" from it. Temp is finally dropping after being at a steady 65 for a few hours. Now at 59 just before noon.

72/66. Winds gusting to 25 mph ahead of the front. Severe Thunderstorm Warning and Tornado Watch in effect. Waiting for squall line to move thru.

Low of 45, high of 51. Picked up .15" today. Sitting at .25" for the month. Hopefully we can cash in on some decent rain tomorrow night and Saturday morning with the frontal passage.

Yeah, a hard freeze will not be good as most trees are either blooming or starting to leaf out. Expecting mid 20's here.

Picked up .08" today and had a high of 72. Had to drive up to Durham for a medical procedure for my wife. Was chilly and rainy up there. Only 48 at noon. Got home 3 hours later and it was 72 in mby. Temp didn't really start warming until we hit Kinston.

Cooler air has finally made it to us, currently 52.

High of 80 after a morning low of 64. Thankfully this will be the last 80 we see for a little while. Temp in the house is at 74. Right at my threshold before turning the a/c on. Trying very hard not to turn it on so soon.

Hit 79 today and had wind gusts over 20 mph. Dew points have also increased, soaring into the low 60's. One more day and then cool down begins.

Hit 85 today. Highest temp so far this year. Cold front has come thru thankfully and has dropped the temp 31 degrees from our high. Currently 54.
