High today of 89 but with dew points in the low 70's, it felt much better today than it has all month. Monthly stats: Highest temp - 96 Lowest temp - 68 Highest dew point - 82 Lowest dew point - 68 Rainfall - 5.51"

Picked up .45" of much needed rain yesterday.

High today of 90. Was threatened by 2 thunderstorms this morning that fell apart right before they hit producing only .08".

High today of 92, clouds moved in around 2 and dropped temperatures back into the 80's where they have remained.

Had a high yesterday of 95. Currently at 9:20 am it is already 84/77 with a HI of 96.

90% chance of rain last night and this morning but only picked up .08". All the big convection missed us to the east. Edit: Had a high of 92.

Had a high of only 86 yesterday. Clouds hung on for most of the day which was quite nice. Also picked up .24" from an afternoon rain. Had a low this morning of 70. Currently just after 12 it is 87/74.

Low 70's for dew points would be nice right about now. Try upper 70's to low 80's all day long.

Another hot and humid day here today. High of 95 with dew points in the upper 70's kept the HI well above 100 most of the afternoon.

To be fair, there was no indication that something like this could even have happened yesterday.

Smoky here today with a definite smell in the air. Had a high of 94. Dew points are way down today. Currently at 6 pm it is 89/70. That is the lowest dew point we have had since July 1st.

Picked up .30" early this morning. Very humid this morning. Currently at 11:40 am it is 86/80 with a HI of 101. At 8 this morning it was 82/80 with a HI of 94. Had to cut the dog walk short as the pups weren't having it. Edit: Steamy high of 93 with a HI high of 111.

Warm and very humid day. HI was above 100 most of the day. Picked up .24" early this afternoon which only made the humidity worse.

Cloud cover kept us from getting any storms today. It did keep the temp down. Picked up .04" from some light rain that came thru this afternoon. High temp was only 85.

Picked up a surprised .25" yesterday afternoon.

Big line of storms that moved thru NC today fell apart right before it hit my area. Managed to pick up only .08" from it. Did help to cool it off though. Hit 91 before the clouds moved in. Currently 75/73 just after 7 pm.

How of 92. Currently rain with thunder. Edit: picked up another .42". This puts me at 3.75" for the week. Backyard is a soggy mess.

Storms came in and fell apart right before hitting us but we still got a good 4 hour soaker last night. Picked up .48".

High of 95 today. Brutal with the high humidity.

Currently at 2 pm it is 93/79 for a HI of 110. Absolutely miserable outside.

Picked up .36" early this morning and then an additional .08" late morning.

High today of 92. Currently light rain and we have picked up .14" since it started.

Already 91/80 for a HI of 109 at noon. Hoping for some good cooling thunderstorms this afternoon. Edit: High temp was 96. Our highest temp this year. The heat and humidity spawned numerous thunderstorms in our area. We ended up with 1.54" for the day. Edit #2: Another good storm moved in around 10:30 on and dumped .74" giving us a day long total of 2.28".
