Low of 66. Lowest since early June. With the wind, it actually felt cold. Beautiful day. High of 81. Dew points in the mid 60's felt so nice.

High of 81 today.dew point hovered around 70 most of the day and combined with a decent ne breeze, it actually felt good out there for a change. Looks like we will be dropping into the 60's tonight as it is currently 70 at 10:30 pm.

What a 1st day of August. My bucket tipper was stuck and had to go out in the downpour to release what ever made it stuck. Right now we are at 2.60" for the day with steady rain still falling. I could probably add another .15 - .20" to the total that fell before I freed the tipper. Amazing afternoon.

High of 91. Had a nice downpour around 2 am or so that put another .30" in the bucket.

High of 94 today but HI as high as 119 this afternoon. Had a nice photogenic lightning show just to the north of me about 1 hour ago. No rain today.

Our high was 96. An weak outflow boundary hit us and dropped temp to 88. At 5 pm we had a very nice thunderstorm come thru and dropped .99". That puts us at 5.88" for the month.

Ughhhh. Currently at 1:12 pm it is 96/86 for a feels like of 130. Walk out side and my glasses instantly fog up. It feels like walking into a wall of humidity. Storms are starting to pop up so hopefully we get at least a good outflow boundary if not a good rain.

High of 98. At one point our dew point hit 83.7 which translates to a HI of 126. I was inside napping.

Day 1 of heat wave and we hit 96 with a heat index of 116.

Heat warning for us from Saturday morning thru Sunday night. Highs upper 90's with heat index about 115.

Got my grass cut this morning before the heat hits. Looks absolutely brutal from tomorrow thru Tuesday.

Picked up .56" from an very early morning thunderstorm which puts me at 4.89" for the month.

High of 97. Interesting that at 3:50 pm we were at 97 and then an outflow boundary came thru. No rain but the temp dropped 10 degrees in less than 5 minutes. In 20 minutes it has dropped to 81, still no rain. An hour later when the sun came back out, the temp climbed up to 87 before slowly dropping after sunset 

High of 95 today. Dew points once again hovered around 80 all day. So tired of the heat. We did have a nice thunderstorm around 1:30 am that dropped .55" on us.

Another miserable July day. High of 96 with dew points around 80 most of the day

Edit: Had a high of 95. HI soared up to 121 at one point. Just a super hot and humid day here in eastern NC 

High of 93. No rain.

Picked up another .34" today. Felt very tropical outside before the rains came.

Picked up a nice .48" today. High of 88 which is down from the high of 92 yesterday.

Just had a real nice thunderstorm. Picked up 1.21" from it. 

Picked up .06" today.

Picked up .67" today. Not bad. Waiting to hear the big totals from west of Raleigh.

Picked up .11" in 2 quick moving showers.
