It is really amazing how horrible the models are at forecasting winter storms 5 days out in 2026.

Woke up this morning and was actually relieved to see that we have gone from a potential ICE storm to all rain with a mixing on Saturday and Sunday night. My wife is disabled and even though I am set up for loss of power, I am not set up loss of heat. The 2 feet shown a few days ago was a wish but I knew it was fantasy.

Low of 26 with heavy frost once again.

Picked up .96" of rain. Good steady rain today. We definitely needed it.

22 this am. High was 49.

Heavy frost this morning with a low of 27. High was a mild 61.

Low of 28, high of 50. Almost forgot what it is like to be cold.

High today was 68 before front came thru. Low is our current temp of 50. Dew point has cratered to 26. Rainfall a measly .09".

High of 75 after a low of 44.

75 for a high here. House got a little warm so I reversed the ceiling fan and turned up the speed. Feels better now.

low of 40, high a beautiful 71 until the sea breeze kicked in.

I am amazed that the Dec. low was lower than January's.

Nice day today. High of 61 after a low of 34.

Had a high of 51 after a low of 24 for the last day of 2025.

Low of 24, much colder than expected.

High yesterday was a toasty 77. This morning it dropped to 30. Wind is making it feel much colder. A 47 degree drop is impressive.

We hit 63 yesterday and 56 today. Thankfully the warmth didn't get to us.
