This thread has been unreadable for weeks. At least they have meteorologists who are regularly posting with trolls mixed in. Here the trolls are running the place.
Lots of focus on high temperatures on operational models over a week away. Focus on the pattern. El Niño is not known for super cold. Just cold enough.
Not that it matters, but I would take 5 or 6 4-8 inch storms over one 20 inch storm. What I love most about winter is snow cover, so I crave consistency the most, even if no big dogs are involved.
I just think people are frustrated. We’ve seen looks like this a lot in the last few winters and they just turn out to be apparitions. Hopefully this year is different.
Well, shit. We’ve gone from “everything is fine“ to looking at forecasts for future winters, and saying that this is our only shot ever at a good winter. [emoji2359]
