Prolific atmospheric lightning isn't violent lightning, though. The rain wasn't even flash flood advisory level, no winds over 25, and no CTG lightning. It was a textbook late afternoon southern storm that you forget happened the next day (well we hadn't seen lightning in more than half a year so a bit different for us).

Thunder picked up the last few minutes. Very nice! Light show was fantastic.

Hadn’t seen lightning or heard thunder since August 2020 until tonight. Thunder was weak unfortunately.

Hey @Bubbler86 it looks like MDT might get up to 60 tomorrow and the night cools off into the low 50s. What model had been showing it was going to be much cooler and not change much?

We said the same thing on our walk this morning. Spring is usually like 2 days long.

Problem is the lows have been crazy high. 100 and 60 beats the hell out of 94 and 79.

The trend of soaring past forecast highs in sunny days continues. Forecast was for 68, it’s 73.
